Good question Traveler, I don't know. How about, "life." It was a given. I didn't ask for it, yet I appreciate it and have since birth. I see an intrinsic value in life without the need to justify its existence. God's love for His people, not work of my own, but freely given. That is to be appreciated. Just my opinions Dr. T

Understood but you being ranked as an 8 by the person who does not bite their nails (according you your argument above) would eventually rate you as a 4 or 5 because you bite your nails. That is only an example. My point was, using your argument, the person judging and then the person that was judged would both have th "lowing of the rank" over time, not just one sided. Dr. T

Hi s0ren, I agree. Tell them "straight up." I'd guess that you are not the first on to say something like that and not the last. They probably have a set response to something like that. Like a phone solicitor who when I say, "No thank you, Sir, I don't want to buy an X" they go on to the next part of the script. Just state your case and see what happens. If you want to call it "creeds that differ" then we can talk about the particular issue that you have about the creeds and see if there are biblical support for them or not. Thanks AK, I see/understand your position. I am learning however that the Biblical version of Jesus is different in essence and this is what Mr. Hinkley is comfortable claiming believing in a different Jesus. Bibically, I have never heard a Christian claim that Jesus was a man exalted to Godhood. In that, the versions are different. Dr. T
