  1. Twort, I have to say that although I am not in your situation, the what if's are wrong. You are married and if you get involved in any way with another woman it is wrong, whether it be emotionally, spiritually or sexually, it is all cheating. And the ther woman is married and you both have children. You shuld not be cheating. If you are not happy, you try to deal with that first
  2. I will say this, I am so glad that the church has no stance on horror movies, because those are one of my favorites, ever since I was 5 years old (now 38) and though I know it is all make believe, fairy tales, it is intriguing to see the crazy things some come up with.
  3. Well my grand children are in Texas,so no trick or treating, but I will probably (not sure yet) give out candy to the children in the neoghborhood. But I might also just clean and relax...not sure yet
  4. Okay this is weird. I started on Chantix before my husband did and he has not even craved a cigarette in over 2 weeks, been on chantix for a month. I am having a very hard time to stop and it is driving me crazy. I have already succeeded in everything I try to do,but can not seem to succeed to stop this smoking..... any ideas??? I have smoked for 26 years
  5. First of all, when we are preparing to be baptized,we take the promise to be faithful,to not be involved with anybody except for our spouse.Being intimate with somebody besides your spouse is considered to be "sexual immorality" and the person has to repent. He needs to stop the affair and be true to his wife and our christ
  6. Well, seeing as how my baby sister was murdered by her husband and my mother used to be in an abusive relationship,I have to say,I would call 911 really quick and then go get things settled down.I would help the person being assaulted and try to hold the one assaulting them for the police. We have an obligation,as a christian to help
  7. Mililani, YOU HAVE TO BE CAREFUL ABOUT BELIEVING A MAN ONCE HE HAS ABUSED YOU IN ANY WAY.MY SISTER WAS WITH A MAN WHO ABUSED HER,THEN WOULD SAY HE WAS SORRY AND SO MUCH MORE.IT STEADILY GOT WORSE,THEN ONE DAY,SHE DISAPPEARED.SHE IS BELIEVED TO HAVE BEEN MURDERED BY HER HUSBAND.SO MANY WOMEN GO THROUGH THIS AND DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO.I KNOW WE ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO TURN OUR BACKS ON MARRIAGE,BUT YOU SHOULD NEVER BECOME A STATISTIC EITHER.MY FAMILY IS LIVING A NIGHTMARE.READ MY WEB SITE AND THE STORY ON ID ABOUT HER AND SEE WHAT YOU THINK AFTER WARDS. THE WEBSITE IS........ Hope Meek (1977 - 2002) and the story on id link is..... The Criminal Report Daily : Investigation Discovery
  8. soul mates and eternal companions... I am not sure about while your on a mission, except if they do decide they have feelings, they should wait until the mission is over and then go from there.Do not do anything while on a mission. But as for soul mates and eternal companions,I don't feel it is the one and same.It just depends on how deep your feelings are,how committed you are to each other.I had thought of my husband as being my soul mate, but now I feel we are eternal companions.I have recently learned about forever families and all and I have tried to explain it all to my mother, who does not know anything about it.But I told her that is where I want to be...with my husband, children and grand children. So I know now he is my soul mate and we are ternal companions. This took me a long time to conclude, not just being with him for a few weeks or months. We have been together going on 13 years.
  9. Chitchat, I have a daughter in law,who I try to be there for love, respect and cherish, although sometimes it is hard.A daughter in law should love your son as much or more than you do,love you, cherish the family and want to be around you. Since the day my daughter in law came into my life,I have tried so hard to be great towards her, show how much I care and everything.I thought we had a great relationship. My son and her moved to be with my hubby and me in 2008 right after one of my grand children were born.I thought things were going great, until they told me they were going to visit her family for a week. Then once they got there I was told by many people they were staying there. Then they called to tell me they were coming to get their and the babies stuff. This broke my heart,I cried for weeks. She said she wanted to be near her family, but not once have they came to visit us since they left (march 10th 2009).They know we cant make the trip because my husband was hurt on the job and is under doctors care for his back and legs. They have made trips to Florida, going right through this town and didn't stop to see us for a few hours. Now my youngest grand child was born in april of this year and I am yet to see her,but they are planning a trip to disney world next month and again says they can't stop to see us. I don't know why it's like this,I have treated her ike my own daughter.I think her family is talking bad about me,but that is my son and my grand children.I love her,my son and grand children and should not be an after thught. So a daughter in law should want to be with the whole family, not act like your family does not exist
  10. I have never went on a dating site and some how I get emails from a few.I think it happens by signing up for games and stuff like that.Be sure first. But if he is doing that, maybe ask him about going to couseling
  11. This may seem weird,so bear with me okay.... Dear Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations, I wish you would help us get my sister on some Nationa shows, news stories. This is really hurting our family and it has been 8 years with no answers or results as to what happened to my sister. If the brats that worked for the city police and sheriffs department had listened to us the day after her disappearance they would have already found her remains and solved this case, putting the husband in prison for taking my sisters life. Please help us do something to get results and answers....because isn't that your job,or supposed to be. Sincerely, Hope Meek's sister
  12. Katiekins, First off,let me say I am sorry you are going through this. You seem like you are very strong.I think if it were my hubby,I would tell him on top of meeting with the Bishop, and a program, that another thing would be going to marriage counseling with a counselor of Your choice, not his, yours.Let him know just how strong your feelings on this is,let him know how hurt you are, that it could hurt your family life and church standing too.It just may be what he needs to hear to help both of you through this.
  13. RIPPLECUTBIDDHA,You are just sooo right. My hubby and I have drove semi long haul for 13 1/2 years until recently when we came off the road. The motorists think we can stop on a dime, and so much more. Then they want to blame us for accisdents, when 9 out of 10 times they are at fault, not us. My own mother used to do this dumb stuff until I taught her better by taking her in the truck with us for about a month. Now she totally respects the trucks.
  14. My husband was wondering the same thing. He was supposed to be ordained into the aeronic priesthood this past Sunday, but I was very sick and we stayed home.He is supposed to be this Sunday and he wondered how long it takes to get to be into the malechezdic priesthood. I was asking one of our sisters and she said to talk to our Bishop and see how long he thinks.
  15. My husband and I started our meeting with the elder, which I was sooo nervous myself. Then they were transferred and we had to finish up with the sisters. This is the first time sisters were used in our ward instead of elders and they are awesome. The elders put me at ease and the sisters are wonderful. The first session you might be nervous as can be,but after that you will be at ease. They are just like we are,but their life revolves around doing God's work. They are very dedicated
