My friend Ted and i would race from seminary to school...him in his grand prix, me in my buick...both of us with cars full of other seminary students...after stopping at The Jelly Donut for warm apple fritters.

in high school, i got a work permit from the superintendent of schools at 14 and got my first job.

well...so much a can't put here....this a can we moved our seminary teachers VW into the dumpster area...sideways...just fit. senior year for me lasted 6 weeks...took the Calif Proficiency Exam and was done with school.

then it will take 2 weeks to get mail delivered....for those things left to snail mail

I disagree. so toyota mercedes, and bmw should take it easy on the quality of their cars because they are so much better than american? I disagree, as long as the players were not taunting the other team and making fun of them. You should always be the best you can, and do the best you can. am i successful at always being the best i can, no...and i know when i'm not and feel bad then.

Exactly. Ben. Yes, there was a lot of greed and stupidity that took place at all levels, from people who bought in when they couldn't afford to all the way up to the Madoff's who ripped off client's, resulting in the current situation. We as a country are at fault. The regulators were asleep at the wheel, because they were paid to sleep. I sincerely hope that this country learns a lesson. I know I have. There needs to be a major belt-tightening.

not sure if it is the same for all the banks, but with Citi the government received stock for the money Citi received. therefore, it is an investment in Citi, not a handout. The thought process is that Citi stock will go up, allowing the government to sell it later at a profit.
