  3. Great idea! except, I don't have a car! I'm dissabled...trying to find work, I'm low income and struggling...I'm just not as important as people who have "real" jobs, and useful lives. I'm different than most of the great families in my ward...I wasn't raised LDS, I don't fit in to their lifestiles....that's why I come up here...I need fellowship, too. I just feel so alone right now...sorry to whine. you ARE important, and you DO matter!!!!
  4. in the words of my wife "if the men wont do it i would do it myself". next time they have a campout, YOU show up with your son. if someone...no, when someone says "hey!" then you have them on the spot there and then for not stepping up.
  5. i cant tell you how many times i've had customers call to dispute charges from vonage on their cc. vonage says they'll port the number, then says they cant, the customer cancels vonage and tries to get their old service back with old number and cant, and vonage keeps charging months after service cancelled.
  6. someone should shoot him....when does hunting season start?
  7. i have cabe...roadrunner...so my sattelite phones are no problem. i love the phones. i have a uniden with 1 extension, and another newer uniden with 2 extensions. all work great, but one downside for uniden...they dont register the (1) on incoming ld phonecalls, so you cant save the number directly to the phonebook or call directly back.

  20. well...i met and went on dates from the ldschat.com website in 1999-2002. until late 2000 i lived in so cal and there were not any suitable prospects my age in the desert. i moved to SLC hoping to better my odds. after 6 months i found work in Evanston,WY and moved there. I then went on many dates in the salt lake valley, and a few in idaho. most were one date only situations, as they were not what i was looking for. i made some friends at some group functions, and met many people from that site. eventually i started chatting in feb 2002 with my wife, who lived here in MO. i came here on vacation in may 2002 and our first date was the Nauvoo Temple open house. i was here a week, and she took me to many local church history sites. The last day before i returned home i asked her to marry me. I moved here that july, and we were married sept 13th, a friday, in Nauvoo Temple. there were a couple of our online friends at our wedding. since then i rarely return to that site, as it has changed to a new platform, and most the people i knew are gone. i haven't kept up with any of those friends...except trishie...since then as ive been to busy being married, having 2 kids, etc. it's now almost 5 yrs since we met in person, and sept will be 5 yrs married. our daughter is almost 4, and our son is 16 months old. also, since the day we first had a private chat until we were married we spent many hous on the phone, not missing a single day from feb to sept. lots of important discussions about wants needs desires. i am happy!!! i would be glad to meet most anyone from here who is planning on being here for church.
  21. i'm reading "Lisey's story" by Stephen King
  22. I had a grandfather who was a widower. He wound up marrying a young woman when he was in his mid 60s and they had 3 shildren together. Point is, I think the reason sterilization is absolutely wrong (unless a health reason is involved) is because one never knows the future. No marriage is stable enough to predict if it will last, absolutely no marriage (one can only trust in the Lord ultimately), and then there is the possibility of premature death. That could force one back into the singles pool and if one goes in without all the necessary equipment it can put you at a significant disadvantage. my wife turns 39 tomorrow. she had difficult births with both our children. with our daughter, her blood pressure dropped so low it was a bad scare....something like 80over 40 ...can't remember, too scary. with our son, the whole thing was very difficult because of the amount of weight she put on after the first, and duringthe second. my wife is now at the point that her dr office that delivered the first 2 woulld not even see her if she were to get pregnant now. just too many problems and worries for us to handle.
  23. he's a dr...it's surgery...no big deal...before hand all he will do is make sure things are easily accesible. seriously tho...it's just business
