I can hear you on that, good buddy. And btw, do you mind that I'm using that phrase? ... the term "good buddy", I mean? I'm not accustomed to using it, but it seems to be a nice term. I know some other people who say that. CrimsonKairos said that to me... and the Skipper said that to Gilligan... so it must be okay. Right... good buddy? I guess it all depends on what I'm comfortable with. ... or maybe it depends on what you are comfortable with. I think that is why I asked you if you mind me saying that. I'll stop saying that, if I know you don't like it. But to know you don't like it, I need for you to tell me. At least that's what I think about that. But will you tell me what you think if you think I might get offended by the fact that you don't like that term? Maybe you'll think that I will, and you never would tell me, unless I told you it was okay to tell me. But then maybe you'd be offended that I told you it was "okay" to tell me what you were really thinking. You might think "Of course it's okay for me to say what I think. Why do you need to say it's okay"? And then there we're both offended because I simply said "good buddy", and I never meant to cause an offense. Bewildering, isn't it? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Was I over-analyzing, just then? I'm simply trying to be considerate... to understand how you feel about something. ... and I don't think I can think too much about that. Hmm. Can I think too much about anything? I think I'll think about that for a little bit longer. And then I'll think of some other things later. But I may come back to it and think some more about it later. I'll probably stop when I'm really sure I know the truth. But, then again, will I really stop thinking or analyzing what I know? What does it mean to "over-analyze" something? I think I'll also think some more about that. :) so you're gonna analyze some more?...lol i dont mind the term "good buddy" at all....i've taken to calling my son "lil buddy"...he's almost 1 yr old.

Putting Up The Christmas Tree
miztrniceguy replied to StrawberryFields's topic in General Discussion
i am undecided....i am vehemently against fake trees, nothing like the smell of a real one. however, 2 small children make a real tree dificult. my daughter is 3 1/2, and my son will be 1 on dec 14th...which is its own dilemma... my wife and i had talked about not decorating or anything until the 15th, to keep the build--up to his birthday seperate and of its own importance. i am a christmastime baby, with my birthday just 10 days after, and i always hated "combined present"...dreaded words for an 8 yr old.."here, this is for christmas AND your birthday" now my wife is itching to start decorating -
no experience, but i wish you the best of luck.

you need to do something to make things happen. law degree and 18k....hmmmm....i have no degree and made 50k last year as a retail manager, which i gave up to work less. i didnt meet and marry my wife until i was 36.

i met my wife in a LDS chatroom. we talked online and by phone for 3 months before meeting in person. i came to MO to spend a week on vacation and we went to Nuavoo Temple open house. She took me to all the local church history sites. My last day here I proposed. I went home and moved here a month later and we were married in Nauvoo temple. Just over 4 yrs ago. oh...and I was warned by several gals in the chatroom we met in that my wife was trouble, and bad...many bad things said about her, including by a moderator. they all were wrong and jealous.

Rep Or Dem Or Other? Poll...how Did You Vote?
miztrniceguy replied to Brother Dorsey's topic in General Discussion
maybe you ought to evaluate the balance you have between needs of yourself and your family and others. my advice would be to look for a better position that would allow you time home, yet provide healthcare, and worry about service to you and your daughter before others. i'm not saying dont volunteer, just that maybe volunteer less. just my 2 cents -

wow...i must be weird. my boyfriend and i both, actually. i think that in-n-out is overrated. I dunno...I tried it once, and the line was way too long, the food just so-so. i must be weird though...my aunt and uncle come down to visit from utah, and their first stop is always at in-n-out! i also suggest trying it again,...never known anyone not to like In-n-Out..

True statement!!! (Grilled onions-add pickles) no pickles on mine!!.since i grew up in Pomona with my dad living in Baldwin Park, in-n-out was a regular stop
-
Of course the same could be said about McDonalds vs. Longhorn. Sometimes less is more. when it comes to fast food, nothing beats a double-double at In-n-out...except 2 of them!! they are a chain....and one here in Liberty,MO

24 oz porterhhouse....the king of T-bones

i'll take a Longhorn over ruth chris any day.....twice the steak, half the price
