i was on vacation. at the time, i lived in wyoming, but was in calif on a road trip. i left oakland about 5am with a friend, drove hwy 1 south ventura, then went eastward to valencia...destination-Magic Mountain. had the radio off the whole way until arriving in valencia. learned when checking in the hotel. before going to my room, where i watched on tv and learned the magnitude of the horrific event, my first call was to MM to make sure they were going to be open. i remember that i was going to be real angry if they weren't.after all, i had driven well over 1000 miles to get there. they were. looking back...cant beleive that was my first thought 1 yr and 2 days later was my wedding day

Unfortunatly, I didn't upgrade to vista...it came with my new Dell computer that I bought three months ago...shhhhh, don't tell CK!!! there was a notice in the news right after vista came out that dell would give their customers an option of having XP if they did not want vista on new computers they bought. probably didnt make it too widely known tho. i saw it noted at work on the Citi channel. i will stay with XP as long as i can keep my hardware is compatible.

my wife bought a motercycle on ebay about 7 yrs ago (2 yrs before we met). a 1983 Yamaha Virago 920. i rode it a couple of years. About 2 years ago we donated it to "Cars for Christmas" The guy who runs the program said it was the first time someone had ever donated a motorcycle to the program!

i'm fairly good with computers, but not an expert. i am smart enought to not upgrade to vista. i think that if you plug it in to a usb port you may be aple to drag and drop it in windows explorer, but not sure. i still havent taken my ipod shuffle out of it's box yet.

I still have not learned how to make it compatible with my widows vista...what a pain this windows vista is!! I know, CK...I don't want to hear your, "I told you so's" I bought this piece of crap BEFORE I met you, remember!! widows vista?....is that different from widowers vista?
