under the "quick links" button at top right are several shotcuts...pm's are one, todays posts are another, as are subscribed threads i don't like that you can't just type in the quick reply box...therefore it's a waste of space

i've been saved from making bad choices many times, but not always...

apology not necessary...i don't own this board, i don't run this board,...i visit, read a lot of posts, make a few posts, and go on my way. i was only voicing my frustration, agreeing with a post by canuck. not saying anyone did anything wrong...just agreeing a lot of threads get derailed and turn into post-fests

i told our ward employment specialist my employer is always hiring...we get $500 for referrals. problem is, his daughter works there now( i referred her). i told him the "right" thing to do is to make sure our names are alternated on referrals.

It seems you have altered your Display format...you need to go to Options at the top of the thread, and choose Standard for the kind of Display you want...I'm not sure what Linear+ is as I'm happy with the Standard form.. thanks...don't know how that happened

i dont understand what has happened to the messages. why aren't the messages all showing the way they were? what's with the message tree that is at the bottom of the screen? what was wrong with the way it was? it doesn't ...oh..skip it

how do you "know" its panhandling and not for a genuine expense? do you contact the church EVERY time you see a can on the counter? or...do you assume it's a ripoff?...or do you assume it's a real thing? while things are not always what they seem, i don't think it's fair to always assume the worst.

insist that you will pay for your own and wish a seperate bill. you have that right, and the resaraunt should not give you any kind of hassle. explain that you never carry cash either. besides...how do you "know" they are disputing the bill...do you work for their credit card company?

let me clarify....i should have said that this what what we were told in EQ by the EQ president

my understanding is that our budget gets stretched particularly thin meeting needs of members. much more undertandable when this is explained why the donations are being asked for. there have been several EQ meetings in the past few months where we have been asked to did a little deeper into our pockets.

a remote control....not just a remote tho. i got a Harmony 670. programmed it on my pc, and works everything i have. select "watch tv" and the tv comes on, the cable box comes on and the stereo come on set to the proper input. no updating over the phone...wow!!!

the suggested donation was 2-3 dollars

i didn't study....hope i get an A+
