  1. I wonder why you, as a doctor, don't know what would happen... Vort knows it.
  2. @ FunkyTown: Okay - now tell us the right answer. I've been thinking about it since yesterday, and have even edited my last post in this thread, because I thought my answer was wrong. It's quite unsatisfying if there were several "right" answers possible. Is it really a riddle? I mean, if there can no specific answer be given on the question, is it really a serious riddle, then? I have seen many riddles with only one right answer, so that you could say "That's it, that's the right answer!". But here? What's the right answer? And why were you sparked to remember it by a recent discussion just on world economics? I mean, where is the connection, the link between? That's also a riddle.

  4. The word I would chose for 2015 is awareness, in the meaning of being aware or conscious of God, or awake to Him. To find back to that spiritual status of faith, that position of empathy and hope, that stops me drifting away and would enable me again to strengthen my trust in Him and his presence.
  5. Little Penguin ??? I'm no longer sure that you are really a penguin - there's too much thinking for a penguin...
  6. Lieutenant Uhura? Anyway, thanks for your advice. Btw. I might fear many things but I don't fear the Klingons -ahem- not much, to be honest. ...aah forget it, no more lies between us - I am a Klingon. qaleghqa'mo' jIQuch (* (* Translation Klingon - English: "Long time no see."
  7. It's a good suggestion. One can have a dislike for milk, but from a beer stein it maybe tastes. By the way, there are several good places here where you can be baptized in the the river Elbe in summer. It was my wish one or two years ago, but I hesitated and couldn't make up my mind. Not because of the water - you surely will have recognized that, in fact, the problem might not be the water alone.
  8. Maybe natural, but a coward dies thousand deaths. It's understandable this makes things not necessarily easier. Wait... I could wear a life jacket, or what about a diving suit? Oh dear, somehow I think this thread is coming to a dead end.
  9. The answer is blow'n in the wind. But who will say it's beer...?
  10. Yeah! And mourn the icebears, too, just to be fair.
  11. Right you are. And I thank God to live now and today and not 2 thousand years ago. But as a penguin it is easy to talk about all these things. You like water and diving under - it's your nature. It's the most usual way for you, as a penguin. I'm not a penguin, but sometimes I wish I was one. Penguins never cry - or was it icebears...? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZLX3FsSLhSA
  12. The famous Hans Albers... unforgettable. And my favourite film (from 1943): Große Freiheit Nr. 7 (Part 3/5 English subtitles) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rbSQFZ8Dd-s

  14. I understand the requirements are not from men, so it's necessary.
  15. Is it necessary that one is baptized in the form the LDS church practices it or is there another way, alternatively, more symbolic and without water?
  16. Do not run, we are your friends! S A L U T A T I O N S !
  17. There are, of course, no compelling reasons for someone to learn a foreign language in the US. The most ones make it probably from a certain traditional understanding, e.g. if their ancestors once had come from Germany and they are interested in the language of their forefathers. Or of course the missionaries, and a practical use would be there in addition here.
