  1. Oh, yeah, Civ games are good. I've only played Revolution, and I guess some of the cleavage is a little more prominent than it should be, but I'd say a relatively clean game.
  2. Haha, I doubt the OP really wants to put in the time to be this fast. Not to mention, in a home defense situation it's high adrenaline; no one is going to be that fast or that accurate. Home-defenders will need space or surprise. :)
  3. Oh, a little bit, I guess. It's so pixelated I forgot. Anyone can look it up on YouTube though and decide if it's more than they feel they should see.
  4. I don't have Netflix, but I do have Amazon Prime. From what I've heard, Prime generally has better stuff, but it sure has some dumb stuff too.
  5. I haven't beat Planescape, but what I've played isn't bad. If you like that one, you could try Baldur's Gate, and Baldur's Gate II. Both are solid and, as I remember, not offensive.
  6. Okay. So we're together on the idea that a byproduct of sex can be more love built?
  7. It wouldn't be hard to convince me to believe the Spirit helped you see the good in the church and its members also. why have you continued going to church?
  8. Just to add a little more to also urstadt said: know what you're going to do with the gun before you get it and be prepared for that. It sounds like I haven't done all he proposes to do, but I also don't conceal carry yet, nor do I have my gun really accessible. I want to be better trained and informed before I take those steps. I guess what I'm saying is, part of being responsible is being honest with yourself. Am I ready to conceal carry? Am I ready to have my gun easily accessible? If that's what I want, what steps do I need to take to prepare for that?
  9. I own a ruger sr 22. It's a .22 long rifle handgun. After the shootings, stories of home invasion, long talks and some saving we bought it. I don't like guns, never have, but feel like, to protect my family, it's a good idea to have one. We bought a .22 in how that our shots had a chance of not killing the attacker, but enough power to cause enough pain to make them stop. I will say that gun ownership shouldn't be taken lightly. If you get one, please do the research to handle and store it safely and practice enough to be affective. Not saying it needs to take over your life, just saying you need to be responsible.
  10. I'm not at all saying those aren't legitimately concerns, also, I'm not saying sex is the only way to show that acceptance, just that is a good one. Obviously, different circumstances will require sensitivity and unique approaches.
  11. Listening to the talk would probably help clear it up, but I'll do my best. Does acceptance come prior to sex, yes, but sex is a physical manifestation of that inward commitment, and when a commitment like that is manifest it helps the participants want to strengthen that commitment. Hence, helping build love. Is it the only way to build love? Absolutely not, but it is one way.
  12. Sex is a promise we make with our bodies. It's the ultimate form of acceptance and promises that those two people will be together to build a life together. I respectfully disagree with the idea that sex doesn't build love. When I feel accepted, when I'm promised once again that we're going to stay together, raise a family together, go through thick and thin together, I feel more loved, and am convinced to give more love, to choose to love more deeply and fully than I did before. For a good talk about it, look up "Of Souls, Symbols, and Sacraments" on youtube. It's a talk Elder Holland gave once as the president of BYU - Provo, and then once again as an apostle.
  13. Take it as a true calling, in you're corner of the world, you are the only person who can fulfill this role. :)
  14. Oh, I would recommend it too, I'm just saying people aren't in deep snow if they haven't, but have joined the church.
  15. Paulsifer42. Lately I've been really into Diablo 3: ros.
  16. I don't know if you have a system that plays portal 2, limbo, braid, final fantasy 6, phantom brave, final fantasy tactics, or final fantasy crystal chronicles, but all of those are good clean fun.
  17. Definitely? Can we agree it's possibly problematic?
  18. Well that's helpful... :) you could always pm me the link, just sayin'...
  19. I disagree that it's problematic. I certainly didn't do that when I was eight. I believed, got baptized, and kept doing the things that gave me the spiritual experiences to fortify my faith. If he didn't do it, that's ok, so long as he keeps doing what he needs to do to gain those experiences. Ie. If he's not going to church, reading the scriptures, praying, then that's problematic.
  20. Now I want to hear you play. *sends peer pressure to give us a link*
  21. My calling right now is with the youth and I think it's a mixture of what has been answered. I think it starts with building a culture of acceptance and love, starting with the leaders. Leaders need to not make fun of the youth (I mean this to be mocking, not good married ribbing). Then talking with youth when they believe others, along with talking to those who have been belittled about being strong in the face of adversity.
  22. From what I've heard, the idea is to get enough buzz in the theatres for the documentary to end up on Netflix, where people regularly watch documentaries. Kids hearsay though.
  23. My mindset is that I know a lot of people who feel shamed by remarks that insinuate that their belief is somehow less than. If you'll read my original post, I point out that he may have many nothing by it, I was simply telling him how it might be perceived. Thank you for the criticism, I'll keep it in mind in the future.
