And having seen this discussion progress along, i just would like to ask a question of you on the jhon the baptist being the greatest prophet for all those born of women, Why do you suppose that is true? You do beleive in baptism or not?:)

Its not good to worry about his "pressure", its time for him to either step up and be the father and husband he should be or forget it, the bishop can definately help you both wheather anybody feels pressured or not is not the issue, there are more important issues than something as trivial as that.

And also the olive tree must be grafted with braches to insure good olives to come forth, so when we consider this aspect of the tree, it makes for a whole lot more good scripture understanding.:)

Well being as john wrote this passage and later went on to write two more books simply proves it only pertained to revealations? {i didnt read all the replys so hope this isnt a requote?}:)

Not scary at all! what really would scare me would be an impending end and not being able to love my family again.:)

And one thing that has facinated me was about two years ago a couple of young woman j.w,s came walking down our driveway walked over to me {outside} and started talking about ther beleife, I didnt tell them we were l.d.s and i was puposefully being very cordial to them and trying to be respectfull , but what really amazed me was that i felt a little spiritual presence about them, which i had not felt from any j.w before. And unfortunately they missunderstood my niceness towards them and came back a couple days later declaring they thought i was interested. So they obviously felt spirtual presence as well. I have felt presence from born agains, ev,s before but never j.ws. So this was a first for me. And this event can only tell me that all whom worship God in whatever manner, are condoned of him. its just too bad non others have all the blessings and knowledge we enjoy.:)

Well are you asking if they did not indulge, but the spirits gave them knowledge later on instead of learning good and evil, by eating?

Its not our place to judge or try and go over a bishops head to achieve our personal goals. And besides that, i honestly beleive "if" what you are claiming is true, {do we know for absolute fact?} I know our bishop yielded temple recomends to us when he knew for a fact that we were not completely worthy ,"{we honestly thought we were} but now after the fact, i know that the bishop knew we were not 100 percent. But God bless this bishop for trusting in and beleiving in us. He was right in doing so! what many and wonderfull blessings have come forth for many family members because of this bishops beleive in our motives and intentions!:)

paying tithing shoukld be done every time you earn something {like a paycheck}. If you dont it obviously gets very hard to catch up on, we pay ours two three times per month, that way we never get behind, and i beleive this method brings more blessings on us as the lord knows we are keeping our commandment. {he doesnt have to wait a year to see if we are doing it} we receive the blessings al along the way because we "are" paying.:)

If you beleive the chrch ask too much of you, then you are not ready to be a member. besides that its not the church that is asking, its the lord, and beleive me when you do "ALL" that he asks us to do, it works out very well indeed, dont worry about the 700 a month or whatever else sort of money issues you might have, this church is not about money it is about receiving more happiness, satisfaction,joy and many,many, blessings,When you do all you can do as commanded, you will rceive the blessings of heavenly father that you cannot even possibly imagine right now. I will tell you without a doubt in any form, this is true, the lord will take care of you "IF"You have the fortitude,faith, and eventually ,"confidence of knowledge" that will only strenghen your testimony, Hence increase your worthyness, and double and triple the blessings you will receive.

And the only people whom fight universal health care are the rich whom make there money from the industry. Yes i saw the movie a long time ago {maybe a year or so?}. And all i have to bring to the attn; of those opposed to universal health care and its obvious pitfalls, are the horrible tragedies and broken families, terrible suffering e.t.c.. of those millions whom dont have any way to get medical help. {it aint pretty}.

I beleive the biggest issue with bibles translated in the last few years is that they are not inspired, the printers claim the N.I.V and other retranslations to be easier to understand; And sometimes it is a good thing, but in a lot of instances there retranslations according to what the uninspired translater is writing is so very damaging to the original scripture.One instance i can think right off hand is in the N.I.V it says that satan will be brought down to his grave rather than the K.J.V that states satan will be sent to hell and prison e.t.c..... So if the N.I.V is correct, then that means satan will be ressurected along with all of us? I dont think that is what the lord had in mind, do you? but anyway there are many thousands of such incorrect translations in many of todays versions, The K.J.V had enough problems over the thousands of years of its coming to fruitation, why do we want to beleive uninspired men whom are for the most part simply making some money by claiming a better product? :)

Maybe try remembering verses in the bible such as , My god, my God why hast thou forsaken me? {spoken by Jesus} Or, father take from me this bitter cup not as i would , but as thou will be done. {spoken by Jesus} There are many such verses in the bible, that contradict the trinity, And also if one studies up on just how the trinity beleife came about in the first place, that information alone is enough to convince anyone of its non correctness.:)

Is this the same Rush of the 70,s? {probably not} but anyway if there music is not chaste, virtious clean and morally upstanding then its not going to help your spirit at all, And i do relize that you probably dont see the signifegance or harm of this, but trust me after many,many, years of listening to this sort of music, it will and does impair the spirits communion with you, the advesary works on most of us this way, he works very,very, slowly, we are not even aware of the spirtitual damage being done, till its too late, you probably dont understand it but its just like an addictive drug, it gets more and more and more, and leads to more unwholesome and spirit imparting things to be {slowly} instigated into your life.sometimes it takes years, just depends on how spirtualy strong you are, but the bottom line is. anything that is not pure, wholesome and clean in the commandments of God will slowly but "surely" destroy the spirit within you.:)

Well whatever happens to you, just dont ever give up for any reason! keep working at it, the path will be provided for you but you must keep working and sincerly trying your honest best, and please beleive me when i say to you that when its all done and said, you will be ever sssooooo happy you will then understand and be gratefull and thankfull for what the lord has offered you. its really wonderfull and beautifull beyond your wildest imaginations, the blessings are truely wonderfull for you and will be for your family as well. {it is true}:)

Wow! i swear im feeling the spirit as i just read about your wonderfull baptism! How wonderfull! Though you might need to be forewarned about becoming addicted to the spirit, its very easy to get that addiction.:)
