I recently ordered a new computer (have not got it yet) and it has Windows 7 installed on it. I was reading a magazine and it said Windows 7 does not come with an email client like Outlook Express. I've used Windows XP and Outlook Express for the last five+ years. If you have Windows 7, how do you access email? What's the best program to use for email on Windows 7? Thanks!

This third film was not as good as the last or first one but well done. Hollywood thinks when they have one hit/well made film they want to do two more, they want those three big films. I think most producers/writers/directors run out of ideas after the second film. Enough three film trilogies. If you have a hit make one more and that's it!

I didn't see it that way. Catwoman looked like she was traumatized by people (or men) and had some resentment against society, so she had a girlfriend. That's what it looked like to me anyway by the way she looked and acted. The ending through me off. Too long a film too. But a well done film.

Did Catwoman have a girlfriend? It looked like it.

Finally saw the third Batman movie tonight. Long movie. Editor could have chopped a good twenty minutes off the film. All around a solid film but I did not care for the ending too much. After all the attacks on Batman and Bruce Wayne I expected a different ending. I liked Bane's accent. Also sort of felt sorry for Bane. Saw a trailer for another Superman movie. Hollywood ran out of original ideas years ago. They are really going through a heavy remake mode now.

I'm all for testing those on Welfare, as long as we test others on other Welfare programs like farm subsides and big corporate tax breaks.

I heard chick-fil-a does not open on Sundays. I can half respect that. Hobby Lobby does not open on Sundays either for the same reason - religious reasons. I would more respect it if they did it simply for workers and giving them a day or rest from a hard weeks work. Workers rights over religious expression. But with those two it's religious expression over workers rights. Still I half respect them for not opening on Sundays particularly considering the money they could make on Sundays. Either put up or shut up and Chick-fil-a is putting up, so I can respect them for that.

The Europeans have spent big money on that collider. I think this is them simply trying to justify it. They add the name "god" to make it sound important and for Europeans/world to say "Oh, that collider was worth all that money!"

Was wanting to see it but don't think I can after the shooting. Too depressing.

Woman Prosecuted for Holding Up Speed Trap Warning Sign
HoosierGuy replied to Jamie123's topic in Current Events
There are many good police officers so I don't want to include them all in this, but in cases where they clearly abuse their powers or step over the line, they need punished. It's time to start firing the punks in the police force. I suspect though that the State Police in many states are becoming the enforcers for the governors of those states, so the lawmakers will leave the State Police alone and let them get away with abuse in more and more cases. One thing we can do is use video cameras that are becoming more and more cheap and small and easy to hide. -
I was talking about a certain "Revolution" in the U.S. that took place back in 1981 to the late 80s that your parents may have or may not have supported. That "Revolution" changed things for the worse even though some people think the person behind it is some kind of demi-god.
-
Hmm. So what changed thirty or so years ago? I know and I'm sure your dad or grand dad know too because they supported that change (most likely). The healthcare industry is corrupt. Pure corruption and the American public allow them to get away with it.
-
So the Green Lantern is now gay? There's one thing we can take from this - the producers behind this comic think there is a big enough market to sale this comic to and make money from.

Some prejudice is acceptable if it's targeted at the right people and not the wrong people. Usually it's targeted at the wrong people.

Why does Socialism seem to lead to the decline of religion?
HoosierGuy replied to a topic in General Discussion
That's the big difference. I and others believe healthcare is a right. I guess you and others don't. Of course I'm siding with nearly all the modern world except the U.S.A. -

You can't have capitalism without exploiting people. Somewhere along the line people are going to be exploited all in the name of profits. Capitalism should be tightly controlled like nuclear energy. Let it loose and it becomes dangerous. Capitalism and a free marking mean bad things. As for the original topic of this thread - Socialism does not lead to a decline in religion. It's freedom of religion and freedom from religion that leads to a decline and that decline is people simply saying - I don't want to join your church or worship your God, now leave me alone! -

No, capitalism, at least the way it's practiced right now, is very satanic. Just think about outsourcing U.S. jobs to near slave labor countries. Think about factories in China that make the electronics we buy. There was a news story about the selling of a former Presidents blood. People were acting like they were shocked. Those shocked are the same people who support denying people healthcare to the sick if they don't have the money to pay. Capitalism is very Satanic and it uses religion to keep people under control. -
Talking Points Memo almost every day. Informed Comment once a week. I used to read Huffington Post but it has become too much s*x and garbage about Hollywood. I haven't been on Huffington Post in a few weeks and my desire to read that site grows less and less as each day goes by.

New Study: 1 in 10 Marriages are Interracial
HoosierGuy replied to HoosierGuy's topic in General Discussion
I'm with Bill Maher on this subject. All these interracial marriage are a result from when adult women were girls and watched MTV and all that rap and hip hop. These are MTV fan fad marriages. -
I saw this on television and found it a little surprising. Interracial Marriage: 1 In 10 American Marriages Are Mixed, Census Reveals One in 10 American marriages are between partners of a different race or ethnicity, according to data released on Wednesday by the U.S. Census Bureau.

And another one is already up but this is special and I can't post the url until I have some stuff up on it. But this one is going to be sweet for the men and women of the world!

Hmm, if I lurk a site I don't sign up until I want to post, then I usually sign up and post. I would not take time to sign up unless I was going to post.
-
Let me ask something. When people sign up to lds.net, do they usually post after they sign up in a few hours? I've got a couple of people who signed up last night but they have not posted yet. I'm thinking they are spammers but they have not posted yet.

That's interesting. How do you get Norton Security to OK it? Is there a cost?

I punched in "midwest state parks" and my site came up on the fifth page, right above the midwestern governors association. I say not bad considering it's only been online for two weeks and It's my first site. Yeah, I need content. I try to post on it every day and I have about six books from the library on state parks in the Midwest.
