StrawberryFields Posted September 8, 2008 Report Posted September 8, 2008 Okay I just finished this book and I am not really disappointed. I was a bit difficult to get through but I am not sure it was in part to my desire to not have it end. What do you think will this book continue in any way? Quote
NightShift Posted September 8, 2008 Report Posted September 8, 2008 I hope not, females all over the world are obsessed by it. I'm tired of reading about it as soon as I log in to the Internet. Quote

I don't know what else or type of story they could continue with this one. I, for one, was very disappointed in the last book so not sure I would pick up the next one so quickly. We shall see. Quote
StrawberryFields Posted September 9, 2008 Author Report Posted September 9, 2008 Well they could continue the story with her daughter and Jacob. Quote
MsMagnolia Posted September 9, 2008 Report Posted September 9, 2008 i read it and enjoyed it and i can see that they could continue the storyline with the daughter and Jacob. But i felt that their story was rather a forgone conclusion... they get married have strange children and live happily ever after :) Quote
bmy- Posted September 9, 2008 Report Posted September 9, 2008 As far as i've heard.. the author is planning a single book on .. Edwards POV (I think that's his name). The first chapter has been leaked. However it's been postponed 'indefinitely' I heard the author is moving on to different projects. Quote

Iggy Posted September 9, 2008 Report Posted September 9, 2008 But you're a man... Why are you reading this series? What does gender have to do with reading books? Or age? Or food preferences? NightShift have you read any of the books? Or are you basing your opinions strictly on what others have said? Quote
bmy- Posted September 9, 2008 Report Posted September 9, 2008 But you're a man... Why are you reading this series?Girlfriend and sister. They talk my head off. I haven't read it -- I know what goes down though.EDIT: I was hoping the (I think that's his name) would give me the benefit of the doubt. ^^ Quote
pam Posted September 9, 2008 Report Posted September 9, 2008 I don't see anything wrong with a guy reading those books. My son has read them and loved them. In fact we just bought the cd's of the first book and are going to listen to them while traveling this weekend. At one point I had heard that there would be another book out, like the first, but through the eyes of Edward instead of Bella. Quote
StrawberryFields Posted September 9, 2008 Author Report Posted September 9, 2008 Well I really didn't expect this ending... I always wanted her to end up with Edward. Quote

littlemisschatterbox Posted September 10, 2008 Report Posted September 10, 2008 There aren't going to be anymore books from Bella's point of view. As it has been mentioned, Midnight Sun will come out but due to the fact that the first chapter was leaked, it has been postponed indefinitely. I liked Breaking Dawn a lot, I think it was great the way she finished up the story Quote
pam Posted September 10, 2008 Report Posted September 10, 2008 Just take it easy, one day this might be you.I caught my son wearing nail polish and skirts and dresses That was insulting, offensive and totally uncalled for. Quote
NightShift Posted September 10, 2008 Report Posted September 10, 2008 That was insulting, offensive and totally uncalled for.It was a joke, I apologize if you where offended. And I mean it I don't just say that. I'm used to foul language and other things that must insult other people. Might be a culture shock of sorts. Quote
Kirajo Posted September 10, 2008 Report Posted September 10, 2008 It wasn't the first chapter that was leaked it the first......oooh....14 chapters? I read them all. Hahah, you can read them at StephenieMeyer.com -- The Official Website of Stephenie Meyer i liked it better than the original twilight to be honest. Although it wasn't finished. Quote

kurisuchina Posted October 9, 2008 Report Posted October 9, 2008 Can boys read Twilight? My mother-in-law (who is obsessed) insists that every boy should read them so they can better understand women. I didn't actually identify with Bella very much so I was kind of offended that she thought all women were like young, stupid, Bella. But then I read Breaking Dawn and I'm not sure I have ever identified with a character more than Bella's love for her unborn baby. So, everyone should read Breaking Dawn, and in order for it to make sense, everyone has to read the first three Anyway, I read them to my husband (he's not much a reader) and he didn't like them much until we got to breaking dawn. He also liked Midnight Sun a lot. Quote
