Lakers.com said Continuing his assault up the list of the NBA's greatest scorers in history, Kobe Bryant became the fourth greatest to ever fill up the basket with 19 points at Sacramento on Saturday night, having needed only five to surpass Wilt Chamberlain's 31,419 career points. The game vs Sac was close but we took the W. We played a well rounded game with Kobe scoring 19, 14 assists, and 9 boards, we had may players scoring in double digits. Dwight Howard added 24 points and 15 rebounds, Blake had 15 points, Meeks 14, Pau had 14 points and 10 rebounds, and Jamison had 10 points with 7 rebounds. Quote

His comments were nice, humble, and he expressed his appreciation of the Lakers organization, family and fans. Kobe had some nice words for him and Phil Jackson also shared some moments with the big man. It was nice to watch. On the night the Lakers retired Shaquille O'Neal's jersey, they topped the Mavs 101-81 at home Tuesday. Kobe Bryant got his second triple-double of the season with 23 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists. Los Angeles moved into a tie with Utah for the final playoff spot in the West with seven games left. Howard had 24 points and 12 rebounds, Clark had 17, points 12 boards and Pau had 14, 10 rebounds and 6 assists.We face the Clippers next. Quote

Four players scored in double figures as the Lakers edged the Grizzlies 86-84 at STAPLES Center on Friday night. The Los Angeles Lakers are currently half a game ahead of Utah for the final eighth playoff spot in the West. We get the Clippers next. Quote

Dwight Howard and Kobe Bryant each scored 25 points, but the Lakers fell to the Clippers 109-95 on Sunday afternoon. Pau Gasol had a double-double of 12 points and 13 rebounds. Earl Clark added 11 points off the bench. I'm not used to this. Quote

Dr T Posted April 11, 2013 Author Report Posted April 11, 2013 Kobe Bryant was phenomenal yet again Wednesday night, scoring a season-high 47 points in the Lakers' 113-106 win over the host Trail Blazers. Pau Gasol had 23 points while Dwight Howard added 20 points and 10 rebounds. above from lakers.comPortland came out with a 41 point first quarter! We had 33 in the first which is not too shabby. We kept playing and had 9 blocks and we went on two runs and came out with a victory! We are now one game ahead of Utah with 3 left to play. Quote
