Hi Everyone

I have been away from the Mormon Church for a long time, I was baptized when I wee lad, after I lost my mother and father at a young age, I kind of fell off the earth and went to the dark side. I never went to church again. I have a very dear friend, that is more of a sister than a friend, who never gave up on me, but she knew for me to come back to the church it would have to be on my terms.

Recently in my life there was a big change, and I realized that somthing was missing in my life, so in November of 2008, I started to attend church every Sunday. Its been a real good experience and my friend has helped me get the books I needed to help me along the way.

Thanks for having such a great site, for possibly finding friendship, and just to talk with someone

Thanks CatDad and Mystic Kitty :)

Welcome Catdad! When do we get to meet Mystickitty? And don't mind Dr T..He gets Christmas cards from cats because they LOVE him so much. He just pretends like he hates them so that they don't get big heads. :)

Thanks for sharing part of your journey with us! I, too, find that going to church each Sunday is a wonderful experience.

Hey CatDad,

I know pets can be like family. My joke about cats has to do with my children bringing this cat and that cat, the sick cat, the cat that had 6 kittens, etc. home and kept asking if they could keep them. I did allow some of the cats to stay in our home but I would always say, "It's not my cat and I don't own a cat" and it turned into a joke. That's all I meant. I'm sorry if it put u off in any way sir. Welcome to this site CatDad. :D

I love cats but can't be around them too long or I start sneezing a lot. Specially the big furry ones...

There are countless people who owe it to one persistent individual that stuck with them and revived or enrolled them, church-wise.

I say every member of the church should longsufferingly stay with nonmember friends until they are prepared to hear the gospel.

Glad that's what so many people do.
