Wingnut Posted March 22, 2009 Report Posted March 22, 2009 ...I saw 3 - either texting or checking email...Or looking up a scripture that was being referenced in the talk. Quote
SMG Posted March 23, 2009 Report Posted March 23, 2009 If you came to my ward and saw me during the passing of the sacrament, you'd think I was sleeping. However, I am not. I like to close my eyes and bow my head. I feel more reverent and do not feel distracted by other things such as people texting or the little kids in the row in front of me crawling under the pew to find his or her missing crayons. I try to worry more about how I am acting rather than how other people are acting during sacrament, it makes me less agitated. Quote
Jenamarie Posted March 23, 2009 Report Posted March 23, 2009 Or looking up a scripture that was being referenced in the talk.Thank you. My husband has his scriptures on his PDA, so he may look like he's checking his e-mail, but he's actually following along with the lesson. Quote
Ghost_Rider Posted March 23, 2009 Report Posted March 23, 2009 The young so and so kids didnt lap hop today. I wonder if they are ill!?! This actually happened in my old ward. As I would sit in the back due to health reasons one little girl would look at me and smile and just get up and sit in my lap. And I wasnt alone. Apperently she had her Fave Sisters and Brothers that she liked to visit. She would come up and crawl into your lap and give you a big hug and a smile. then move to the next inbetween talks or hymns. when she didnt do this we would ask her mom if she was feeling alright. She was a great little girl....untill...fast and testamony meeting...lol Quote

I find that I have only enough energy to keep my eyes open or enough energy to pay attention with eyes closed. But I really do know what's going on, I promise! Quote
