Maya Posted September 16, 2009 Report Posted September 16, 2009 I Can only use my lefty now.... My hand is hurting too much. On hand side of the bone on the back of my hand.... It is as if the pain has moved from my neck to my shoulderblate and finally my hand.... this is soooo slooow Can not even hold a book. Should not have carried the grosaries yesterday! But my camels were in MTC, school and one had clipped the grass at the church the day before... that means he can not step on his foot the next day.... the cumora hill we have there is not good to his foot! Guest Alana Posted September 16, 2009 Report Posted September 16, 2009 camels? I'm so confused. Quote
Maya Posted September 16, 2009 Author Report Posted September 16, 2009 Dont you use camels to carry what you bought from the store... We live only 3 min from the store cant take a car for that! But bags get heavy... so usually I have my sons or my dear husbsnd to use as camels... to carry the bags! Usually I Ask, who will be my camel today, and at least 2 camels gallops to me as they know they may get a reward... But that day I had no one galoping to me and My dh did not move from the sofa all day due to cutting the grass the day before. My hand is a bit better... at least I can use one finger.... Quote
pam Posted September 16, 2009 Report Posted September 16, 2009 I think it's funny how you call your husband and sons camels. When someone asks if I have help...referring to my sons I usually say nope..I have good slave labor here. Quote
john doe Posted September 16, 2009 Report Posted September 16, 2009 Your husband couldn't move after cutting the grass? What did you do, make him do it with a pair of scissors? Quote

I have only four left to carry my goodies. Quote
Maya Posted September 16, 2009 Author Report Posted September 16, 2009 Your husband couldn't move after cutting the grass? What did you do, make him do it with a pair of scissors? You think I was a bit hard on him with my whip?It is the Hill of Cumorah... you see.... his ancle can not endure steep hils... not even short ones. If he has to have his foot long time on a uneven surface... he will lay ... more or less the next day. And thinking of the effort when pushing the gress clipper in front... that is not really doing anything good on the ancle... You see in 75 or so he fell on a cargoboat in the cargo room, as he was trying to fix something higher up. his fot was caught between two really big tubes and he broke his heel and ancle, his back and hand. It was in Corpus Christi. They did not believe he would ever walk again. after 2-3 months he WALKED out of the hospital adn hated teh sticks so he trew thema s soon as he got home... talking about stubborness... One really god thing came out of this was a visit by a worker in salvation army who gave him a bible, that he wouldalways carry with him, but never read it... untill one day.... and then the missionaries came a bit after that!So he cant cut teh grass witout consiquences.Yes Pam you should have seen how the guys sometimes galoped to me ... almost run me over! After all I reach only to their shoulder in hight .... Wild camels!I am also afraid they will find some female camels, who will blink with their big wet eyes at them some day.... beeing such big camels i dont think I can hold them back adn tehy will gallop out on the meadow somewhere.... but they can smell my cookies pretty good and from far away!Picture of the hill of Cumorah... We live next door (1/4 mile) to a farm that has a bulk food business. I ride my horse there all the time. Walk? Why? She has four legs. I only have two. Quote
Hemidakota Posted September 18, 2009 Report Posted September 18, 2009 Maya - I usually blame those intelligences who are in-charge of portions of limbs in not sending the proper signal via the nerves. Quote
Maya Posted September 18, 2009 Author Report Posted September 18, 2009 Chuchmouse... I do love animals. I even been riding a bit when 15. And I helped my friend to clean a few stabled when 20... I think I know where the breaks are and gears.... Would be great to have a horse... but it wont work here in town... Next time you ride ride a circle for me and than God for such beautiful animal and teh ability to ride. :) I have to confess I am not that keen on spiders or mice or other animals inside a house.... cats, dogs and men will do. (ducking)( I was bad shame on me!) Quote
