crawling up from the darkness

Hi I'm Curtis. I've come and gone many times in the last 10 years. I run for the light but always end up getting consumed by darkness. Once again I find my self Crawling tward the light. My brother Lucifer knows all the tricks and all my weakness. If I continue to listen to him my soul will be lost. I want to come back to my fathers house for his guidance. Once again I have failed on my own. I feel lost and alone, even with my wife and five children.

When you look back in to your life you see two fotprints side by side... then one of them goes to an other direction... the other stops and wiats.... then starts to go ... untill later the footprints meet again.. sometimes there are only one pair of footprints... because He carryes you! You maynot see him, but he is right behind the hill setting his speed after yours and He always welcomes you to walk with him and He will always carry you if you allow Him.

The journey is long and weather sometimes heavy allow Him to lead you, you cant get lost.

curtis....i know the lonliness of which you speak, and the coming and going as well.

it's a rough and dangerous road. there are many reasons why someone might run to the light and then away from it. do you know yours?.....REALLY know them?

it takes some serious soul searching....HONEST soul searching....that seems to work best with some outside help and guidance....and people you feel you can trust to confide in.

but YOU must do the work...it can't be done for you....the lesson and growth from it is all yours.

my friend...try not to let yourself dweel on any kind of feelings that tend to make you believe that you are somehow unworthy of salvation and of blessings.

we ALL have our own growth to deal with in this life.

i would also suggest that you try not to compare your life-path wiith anyone elses...this is also a trap of negativity.

so, be brave....face your life as best you can....and when you slip, get up. do it all again.

in time, you might notice that you slip less, and it's easier to get up, again.

you may have had some thoughts of...."i did what was expected of me, why dont i feel right about what has become of it?"

i think you must start from where you are with a new vision of your life and where you are with it and where you want to go.

lol...i know...sometimes easier said than done.

pray to HF, and be OPEN to your life, and you will get answers and guidance from above.

whether you listen to it is up to you.

your lessons....your growth.

i think too, that if you ask for feedback from here (this site), you will get that too.

and if the truth of it touches your heart.....there's a clue....lol

Curtis, I think most here have been there somewhat in their activity in the church.

We are beckon by those across the veil to come back to the light. Once found again, our enlightenment will return along with a 'further push' to the tree of life (seen by Lehi) of our rewards.

You are never lost unless you have reached the status as Perdition. God bless on you forward journey and welcome to the forum.

The fact that you are still fighting is a testament to the strength of your spirit. Keep pushing and don't get discouraged. Don't allow guilt or fear to have any part in your life. Just move forward with faith.
