I think he's got a point. So far in this thread, one third of the posters are mods. Still less than regular posters, but it's definitely not a kabillion to 8-9. :P

But, it's the same mods. Pam talks alot and she's rubbing off on me.

I do not talk a lot. Have you once even heard me talk on this site? Huh?

But he's talking about moderators. You don't think moderators wouldn't respond to a thread about them? :P

That's not talking. That's typing. There is a difference.

Well, let's take a vote of those who attend the get-togethers--I seem to remember someone dominating the conversation with certain wait staff and we actually had to ask this person to ask the wait staff to get us water!

Sure, but that doesn't mean other people won't as well. And if you want more evidence, half the posters in the Pizza Burger thread are mods. :P

Yeah, but I'm worth about 10 mods in 1.

If that's the case you are the last person that should be picked because you'll skew the ratio even further... or the best I suppose depending on how you look at it.

Of course why he desires to be a moderator when "the problem is with moderating imo, the feeling of power one must have when they can moderate, delete, and edit anothers speech is too much powerful for anyone" (http://www.lds.net/forums/general-discussion/32047-accurate-statement-regarding-discussion-forums.html#post501359) is beyond me.

So we like pizza and burgers.

I like the moderator comments. These are neat people with opinions I respect. I also like the posts from people like me, who will never be mods :P

It's all good, grab an ice-cold soda and enjoy the summer.

Very smart. You get a gold star from me.

Oh and btw 1,747 equals one kabillion. So Beefche was correct.

By definition, kabillion = any large number (even if it is slang). I'd say 1,747 is fairly large ;) so yes, she was indeed correct.

The flaw in this logic is that moderators are asked and expected to be active on the site. That means moderators will read every thread and if they believe they have something to add to the discussion, they will. If you feel you are outnumbered, then you should encourage the lurkers to post more, not ask moderators to post less.

I've never been active on a board where the mods didn't post regularly. In fact, it's a little surprising to me that Heather posts so rarely.

Don't most mods post often on their respective boards?
