Questions about how the mods function

This is how mods function:

XMod(Y) is the solved by

1. Writing X/Y as a proper fraction (A B/Y where B < Y)

2. Discarding the integer and only keeping the numerator ( B )

So 10 Mod (3) = 1.

1. 10/3 = 3 1/3

2. 10 Mod (3) = 1

You may now resume the thread.

Uh yeh..that's it.

That's what john doe is talking about. Reporting posts so we are aware of the problem as it is happening. We could get rid of the offending post or poster quickly before it escalates to having to nuke the entire thread.

So, does this mean I can report posts that are baseless judgments against a question being asked?

I really hate it when I see someone get creamed for posting a question that appeared to be anti-Mormon, and even being labelled troll. We simply do not know one way or the other yet. By their fruits ye shall know them, but if we don't allow people to grow here they'll never bear fruit and we'll never know what they would have produced.

It's probably more consistent than the magic eight ball I use.

I kind of use this rule of thumb:

Eenie Meenie Mynie Moe

Who will get my banning blow?

If he (she) argues let him (her) go

Eenie Meenie Mynie Moe.

Okay it's the best I could do on 4 hours of sleep.
