alexis Posted September 21, 2011 Report Posted September 21, 2011 Hey LDS.net-ers.Random question for the long time users of this forum, especially Pam and Vort...I ran across another More Good Foundation website that's called Ask Gramps. (Ask Gramps - Q & A about Mormon Doctrine) I vaguely remember there being somebody named gramps on this website when I first came on here a few years ago. Is this the same guy? Thanks!Alexis Quote
skippy740 Posted September 21, 2011 Report Posted September 21, 2011 About Gramps | Ask GrampsGramps is a moral voice in an Internet environment that can be awash in immorality. Ask Gramps is a breath of fresh air, a favorite among young and old. He writes with down-home wit and knows something about everything (although he is not ashamed to admit that he often solicits help from experts to answer some questions). Gramps is highly conservative, unabashedly God-fearing, and will find a way to teach you a moral lesson. His approach is to invite people into his family through validating their concerns; providing quick, entertaining, easy-to-understand answers; and ending with a warm sentiment that gives hope. I do not know if Gramps (the poster) is the same "Gramps" of askgramps.org Quote

rameumptom Posted September 21, 2011 Report Posted September 21, 2011 The reality is, while we enjoy Gramps' answers, we do not speak much about his personal lifestyle. There was a period of time when we had to edit some of his posts. For some reason he got into talking about how wearing his wife's bloomers and high heels were "free-ing". I understand they now have his medications adjusted and he's doing fine. Quote
pam Posted September 21, 2011 Report Posted September 21, 2011 Alexis, it's not the same gramps. Ram, I'm sure where gramps is right now, he has absolutely no need for medication. :) Quote

Though I can only take credit for a couple of the answers. I use others that are far smarter than I am. Quote
rameumptom Posted September 21, 2011 Report Posted September 21, 2011 So, Pam, it was YOU in grandma's bloomers and high heels? You aren't getting into gramps' medications are you? Quote
pam Posted September 21, 2011 Report Posted September 21, 2011 Why do you think I'm the way I am? Quote
pam Posted September 21, 2011 Report Posted September 21, 2011 You are a cow. You are not gramps. Quote
beefche Posted September 21, 2011 Report Posted September 21, 2011 Huh? I'm a cow? Why would you say that? Am I Spartacus? Quote
alexis Posted September 21, 2011 Author Report Posted September 21, 2011 Ha ha ha. Thanks guys! I am enjoying the site, as it answers some interesting questions. It also offers a nice review of what the Church teaches. I study too much... Quote
pam Posted September 21, 2011 Report Posted September 21, 2011 Huh? I'm a cow? Why would you say that? Am I Spartacus? Mootacus maybe but not Spartacus. Quote
alexis Posted September 21, 2011 Author Report Posted September 21, 2011 Ha ha ha, I just read a very amusing (to me) post. The inquirer was asking why Prince William and Duchess Kate didn't get married in the temple. Obviously they are not LDS. I feel bad for these people that think the whole world is LDS. Granted, it'd be great if it was. But it's not. Quote
rameumptom Posted September 21, 2011 Report Posted September 21, 2011 So, the innuendo is that Pam is now wearing cow underwear.... Must be cow tranquilizers she got from gramps, too. Udderly ridiculous! Tune in next week when Dravin realizes the real reason he was not allowed to get up close to Beefche on the honeymoon! And it isn't because Pam had her bloomers.... Quote

pam Posted September 21, 2011 Report Posted September 21, 2011 Well I think I did anyway. Now I can't remember. See what thinking I'm a "gramps" has done to me? Quote
