beefche Posted November 6, 2011 Report Posted November 6, 2011 PC, Dravin and I talked about you today. I even talked about you with other people. My family are not LDS. My oldest brother was being baptized today in a church near where he lives. Dravin and I attended to show our love and support for him. Once we got to the church, we realized it was an Assemblies of God congregation. We attended the baptism and stayed for the service. The people were very friendly and welcoming. One of the songs had something to do with the Trinity and I was reminded of the discussions on here recently. The sermon was on John 3 and how Jesus meets us where we are. I asked a couple of the members if it was Assemblies of God and once they confirmed it I had to tell them I knew a prison chaplin! Quote
pam Posted November 6, 2011 Report Posted November 6, 2011 I hope you don't mind beefche but I corrected the spelling in your title. :) It was bugging me. hahaha Quote
Spartan117 Posted November 6, 2011 Report Posted November 6, 2011 I mentioned PC in a discussion during Sunday School last week. Just like on here, we somehow got talking about the Trinity. I referred to him as my "Protestant friend." Quote
annewandering Posted November 6, 2011 Report Posted November 6, 2011 You are becoming renowned in LDS circles, PrisonChaplain! Quote
beefche Posted November 7, 2011 Author Report Posted November 7, 2011 Thank you, pam. I always spell his name wrong. I sometimes even get PC wrong. Quote

prisonchaplain Posted November 7, 2011 Report Posted November 7, 2011 At this rate I may end up a future congressional/senatorial chaplain! :-) Quote
