Jennarator Posted December 6, 2011 Report Posted December 6, 2011 I heard it's a pretty good show. I also read (just the headline, not the article,) that it's brainwashing kids.....don't know why.... Quote
Bini Posted December 6, 2011 Report Posted December 6, 2011 Omgosh. I'm a child of the Muppet era! Haha. I'm not crazy about seeing it. Maybe because I'm not a fan of the "leading man" in that movie but I may end up seeing it, eventually. I'll probably watch Twilight Breaking Dawn first. Quote
Backroads Posted December 6, 2011 Report Posted December 6, 2011 I'm excited to see it--heard so many great things about it. And I so love the Muppets. Quote

annewandering Posted December 7, 2011 Report Posted December 7, 2011 Oh everything fun is a commie plot to some. lol If it were me I would take all fun stuff and call it capitalist for the propaganda instead of giving it to the other side! Quote
TheKitsuneFox Posted December 8, 2011 Report Posted December 8, 2011 I saw it and I thought I do not regret seeing it. Quote
dahlia Posted December 8, 2011 Report Posted December 8, 2011 So, is it anti-American or what? I'm on another board full of libs and there's a big thread about the muppet movie. I didn't even open the thread because I figured if they liked it, it's probably full of eco propaganda, re-distribution of wealth or some other notion meant to drive children to readily accept a level of communism which Lenin would find objectionable. Yes, for some of us, anti-Americanism is all too real and all to prevalent, especially in material aimed at young people. I do have a sense of humor, but it's harder and harder to watch Hollywood these days. I could care less about a little skin or bad language; I do care that my culture is being diminished and devalued in the name of entertainment. Quote
