NeuroTypical Posted May 17, 2012 Report Posted May 17, 2012 Hi DesertKnight - thank you for your service to our country. I wish I knew more about falconry. We live in an area with a lot of redtail hawks, and we love to watch them float along and then dive down on their dinner. Quote

Windseeker Posted May 24, 2012 Report Posted May 24, 2012 Welcome DK, My childhood dream was Falconry. I built a trap to catch a RedTail but never got around to actually trapping one. I used to follow them all around and locate their nests. I still have a library of falconry books. I think it's very cool. My favorite are Goshawks and Peregrine Falcons. Have you trained either of these? I always thought it would be cool to have a Redtail attract crows and then bring them down with a Goshawk. Quote
