Dr T
Many of you have probably heard this but I just saw it again and really appreciate the talent. It is Canon played on a guitar. Enjoy here:
CrimsonKairos
I played this in high school on my alto sax for a solo contest. Love it. One of my favorite Baroque pieces.
Dr T
I can't play any instruments. That is very cool, CK. You must have a talent. :)
pam
I can't play any instruments. That is very cool, CK. You must have a talent. :)Loved it. Pachelbel's Canon D is my absolute favorite classical piece. It's even my ring tone.

Guest Username-Removed
That was fun! I find myself listening to a lot of Christian Music over the last year. Its kinda wierd, because I never really liked it when I was growing up, now I listen to about 2 hours of it every morning before work. Great post ... thank you! Dr T
My pleasure JcDean78 & wordFLOOD. I'm glad you enjoyed it. :)
CrimsonKairos
I can't play any instruments. That is very cool, CK. You must have a talent. :)I'm alright. I'm rusty compared to what I used to be able to do. I did record myself playing the opening of "Harlem Nocturne," this was about five months ago. Anyway, I attached the file if you wanna check it out.
Dr T
Darn. It starts out really nice and then it stops. I'll try and listen to it tomorrow on another comp. Thanks for the attachment.
CrimsonKairos
The clip is only about 20 seconds long...it's just an excerpt. The song is longer...
Dr T
Very nice C.K. At home I could only get like 4 or 5 seconds worth. You have real talent brother. Thanks for sharing that. :)
Vanilla
For any fans of piano music, David Lanz has a great version of Pachelbel's Canon. This was a great guitar version, thanks for sharing!
Blessed
Wow, that is a talented young man. Made my fingers tired watching him. :-) Thanks, T.

shanstress70
I enjoyed this and my husband will too. He's a guitar player. We had this song played at our wedding with the violin and piano. CK, that sounds awesome. But like Dr T, I wanna hear the whole thing!
CrimsonKairos
Hahahaha, sorry Shan, I didn't have time to record the whole thing. I guess I just really dig the bluesy feel of the opening sax solo (the rest of the piece requires a jazz band, lol). It evokes images of a grimy, moon-lit city block with no one on the streets and a lonely wind blowing. Good stuff.
Dr T
I can see it.
