I like the fact that I can go from a ward in South Africa to a branch in Malaysia & have the same things taught.... Sure the understanding of principles is very different & there is also the cultural differences... But the same principles/lessons are taught & the same manuals are used.

Last summer I went on holidays with my son. We went to Sandpoint, Id. On Sunday we went to church and my son commented on how "it's just like the church we go to at home". He was seven at the time and only went to church when he stayed with me every other weekend. I thought, how true. It's comforting to know that you can go almost anywhere in the world, and the church is the same. :D

I just love the way it allows me to grow whilst keeping me grounded. I also love the people I have met - today I sat down with a missionary from my home town and one from Germany its great
