Silhouette Posted September 30, 2014 Report Posted September 30, 2014 Sorry if this has been addressed in the past...I couldn't find a reference to it so am asking now.How do I delete one of my own posts, such as accidentally posting something twice one after the other? I did that just a few minutes ago. I'm coming in from an iPhone, and do not have access to a computer at this time. I didn't see a button that gave me an option of deleting my accidental post. Quote
pam Posted September 30, 2014 Report Posted September 30, 2014 You don't have the capability of deleting a post. You can edit but not delete. Quote
Silhouette Posted September 30, 2014 Author Report Posted September 30, 2014 Oh, well that explains that then! lol Quote
estradling75 Posted September 30, 2014 Report Posted September 30, 2014 You don't have the capability of deleting a post. You can edit but not delete. To expand on Pam's point... You can delete your post by asking a mod really nicely.. and then wait for them to get to it. Quote

We would prefer that people not do that. We would rather see if there is a way to adjust so that it doesn't throw the conversation off. Quote

JimmiGerman Posted January 18, 2015 Report Posted January 18, 2015 (edited) Ah! For continuity's sake, I think I see the point. :) But if you delete the text and you replace it by a funny smiley, I think it will do it. A smiley could mean everything, and it sometimes says more than words. Maybe better than an abbreviation like the one you suggested. Edited January 21, 2015 by JimmiGerman Quote
