dahlia
What do you call the time an elder spends at a particular location? I know they get transferred from place to place, but don't know how to refer to one place. So - Elder Smith's mission was in Iowa. While on the mission, he was (stationed at? lived in? assigned to? did a tour of duty in? something else?) Des Moines and Ames.

PolarVortex
Having seen a number of joyful videos of new missionaries getting their "orders," I seem to remember the wording in those letters: "You are assigned to labor in the [city, country] Mission." I always thought that was a vivid and delightful word.
