Palerider Posted December 20, 2015 Author Report Posted December 20, 2015 Sitake named new head coach. https://www.ksl.com/?sid=37775847&nid=272&title=reports-byu-names-sitake-as-13th-head-football-coach-in-program-history&fm=home_page&s_cid=topstoryI hope he does good ...... Wonder if Utah forgot there is 4 quarters in a game. Lol Quote
mirkwood Posted December 20, 2015 Report Posted December 20, 2015 It is really difficult to win when you spot the other team 5 touchdowns like that. No spotting of anything. Utah's defense took the ball away 5 times. Give credit where it is due. Quote
james12 Posted December 20, 2015 Report Posted December 20, 2015 I take this bowl game as a microcosim of Utah's season. Great at the start, strong defence, weak offence, with just enough to hang on to the end. Lets hope Wittingham can put some sort of offence together next year. mirkwood 1 Quote
pam Posted December 20, 2015 Report Posted December 20, 2015 At the end of the day, it's only a game. Vort, LeSellers and Palerider 3 Quote

My concern is I hope he can get it done at the college level. Quote

My concern is I hope he can get it done at the college level. For what little it's worth, I think he can but those were my thoughts too. He did great at college, but was he a guy who was naturally talented or just worked really hard? I think in college you can get by (at a smaller one) with a bit of talent and hard work, but in the pros you need extra hard work and insane talent. You are also teaching them football in college. If it comes natural to you, it might be hard to teach. Edited December 24, 2015 by MormonGator Quote
mirkwood Posted December 25, 2015 Report Posted December 25, 2015 I think Ty will do fine. You BYU fans should be far more excited about Sitake though and not the former Heisman winner. Ty was a great QB. Sitake is a great coach. Quote
