Backroads Posted January 23, 2016 Report Posted January 23, 2016 So I'm going to step outside of my no-frills-teaching zone and actually bring a centerpiece for my Relief Society lesson tomorrow. It may even look nice, but that's still a far-fetched notion.Wish me luck! Crypto and Sunday21 2 Quote

Sunday21 Posted January 25, 2016 Report Posted January 25, 2016 So how did the lesson go? I gave a relief society lesson from a conference talk today. Everyone hates to prepare these so I get them. It went ok. "The joy of living a Christ-centered life". Lots of participation! I worried about how to teach it for 2 months! Quote
Backroads Posted January 26, 2016 Author Report Posted January 26, 2016 So how did the lesson go? I gave a relief society lesson from a conference talk today. Everyone hates to prepare these so I get them. It went ok. "The joy of living a Christ-centered life". Lots of participation! I worried about how to teach it for 2 months! It went well. I forgot to take a picture of my centerpiece, and the toddler that kept escaping her mother knocked it down anyway (it was at just the right moment, too, very funny). But I felt the lesson went well as it led to a lengthy discussion, which I take as a sign of a good lesson. Sunday21 1 Quote
Sunday21 Posted January 26, 2016 Report Posted January 26, 2016 Good job! Pat on the back to you! I find things go better if I pray do before beginning to prepare the lesson. Funny how that is! Backroads 1 Quote
