Guest Posted March 18, 2016 Report Posted March 18, 2016 (edited) It was only partially directed at you. I just noticed that this (as the fourth in a series) was a pattern. I'm glad you clarified. Edited March 18, 2016 by Guest Quote

anatess2 Posted March 26, 2016 Report Posted March 26, 2016 (edited) So, my engagement ring was worth $150 from Kay's. That was the amount of cash money that was in my husband's pocket when he went looking for one. It's a gold band with 5 teeny diamonds. This ring became my wedding ring a couple weeks later. My husband's CTR ring became his wedding ring. A few months later, we went to the Philippines and my aunt talked us into getting matching wedding rings, designed the exact same way as my Kay's ring but with bigger diamonds. Both rings cost $800 together. When I delivered my first child, my husband was soooo happy. While I was recuperating from the C-section in the hospital, football goes on TV and my husband strikes the Heisman trophy pose and asks me what it is. I said Heisman Trophy. He was beyond pleased, he got me diamond earrings... that I only wore once. I'm just not into jewelry. At all. Ever since then, my husband has never bothered buying me jewelry. My husband on the other hand is big on jewelry. Over the years, I've gotten him a watch, a bracelet, and a necklace to match his wedding ring. All together they're worth more than my car. And I have a Cadillac! Edited March 26, 2016 by anatess2 Backroads 1 Quote
