Yeah.  Can you imagine what would happen if a bunch of right wingers did this at a Hillary rally?

Violent protests at Trump New Mexico rally - BBC

Quote

Demonstrators held banners that read "Trump is Fascist" and "We've heard enough", and some waved a Mexican flag.
...
Albuquerque police said bottles and rocks were thrown at officers and police horses, and several were injured.
...
This is not the first time violence has broken out at Mr Trump's rallies. He cancelled a gathering in Chicago in March after clashes between his supporters and opponents.

Gotta love the respect for freedom of speech and assembly being shown here.

Conspicuously absent, though, is any mention of even a single arrest.

Not that hard to have some HD cameras running continuously at political rallies, and ID the throwers that way.  You'd think if someone pointed out to Trump that it would help his cause to have some illegals convicted for attacking the cops, he'd gladly pay to have manned cameras with serious telephoto lenses stationed around all of his gatherings to get the proof.

Dang, NightSG, you need to re-think how you get your news.  No, arrests are not conspicuously absent.  You're reading international news from the BBC, and they didn't cover that level of detail.  ABC and local Albuquerque news report at least one arrest, and here's the Albuquerque police tweet on the matter:

And of course there were cameras rolling.  A simple YouTube search gives a large number of results.

And of course Trump's campaign is turning it into a boon.

Yeah I can't stand Trump (surprise!) but this is out of control and totally unacceptable. Oddly, these are the same types of cats who talk about how peace loving and tolerant they are.

Good for them - trying to de-escalate and keep the protesters from becoming violent.  Too bad some protesters set crap on fire and injured cops with thrown rocks anyway.

Less good for them: How they go about blaming Trump for the violent, because his message is so "divisive".

I'd be willing to join these people and stand with a little orange vest, if they could get over blaming people besides those who chose to get violent.
