How long will people live during the millennium? (I have big plans!)

Dear Hubbers,

How long will people live during the millennium? A normal lifespan or the full thousand years? Will we have jobs? I recall reading that Nibley asked students to come up with a career plan for the millennium. I find looking forward to the millennium to be a great stress reliever!

D&C 101:30 - if there's a more specific reference, I don't know it.  I have memories of people saying this meant a normal human life span.  I don't think you have to worry one way or the other, though.

The length of your millennial life will depend on when you are resurrected. After resurrection there will be no more death.

And you dont really die either but are changed in the twinkling of an eye. Morticians wont have any work, they will have to learn a new trade as that one dies out.

They can start digging up graves to get all the resurrected beings out, I stretch their faces, put their eyes back in and so on

I wonder if there will be police officers? We had some cities that gave up alcohol in our history. Apparently this led to laying off most of the police force - less crime!

Probably long compared to today... However we know that death will still exist during the millenium... However it will be offset by being resurrected at death. So on one hand people will have mortal lives but on the other they will go right into their immortal ones at the end of their mortality. No idea how such an event will figureinto someones daily life.
