Stampede Posted February 26, 2008 Report Posted February 26, 2008 The thing with planetary weights and distances is weird to me. It begs so many questions. Like HOW did the Earth get weighed? Was she wearing anything (snow) at the time? What was the scale resting on?yeah it is wierd because Wieght is a measurement of gravity on any object of Mass. The earth's Mass if calculated by earth's gravity would be that high. If equated with the gravity of a larger planet it would wiegh more because the larger a planet, the more gravitational pull there is. Quote
Dr T Posted February 26, 2008 Author Report Posted February 26, 2008 Well everyone knows it's F=GmM/r2 Quote

havejoy Posted February 29, 2008 Report Posted February 29, 2008 Do you know that chewing gum when you peel onions will keep you from getting teary eyed. Peeling them while holding them under running water works too. Quote

pam Posted March 1, 2008 Report Posted March 1, 2008 Giraffes are also afraid of heights. They are so top heavy they are afraid to step up or down more than 24 inches. That's why many zoos only have them contained by a very deep moat. Quote
