Alaskagain Posted February 21, 2008 Report Posted February 21, 2008 We have been watching the progression of the eclipse! Go outside and look! Quote
Mahonri Posted February 21, 2008 Report Posted February 21, 2008 We had to peak around the clouds here in AZ but it was still great. Quote
LDSgirl Posted February 21, 2008 Posted February 21, 2008 · Hidden Hidden It's only partly cloudy here and I've been out watching it!
LDSgirl Posted February 21, 2008 Report Posted February 21, 2008 I've been outside watching it. This is the last total lunar eclipse until 2010! Quote
Alaskagain Posted February 21, 2008 Author Report Posted February 21, 2008 hmmm, while looking skyward, i wondered if we would be able to view exploding/flaming satellite debris? (I'm glad they let the shuttle land first! is it a heat-seeking missile they are using?) Quote
Dr T Posted February 21, 2008 Report Posted February 21, 2008 Saw the begining when I left work then clouds then it peeked out again. It was very cool :) Quote
shanstress70 Posted February 21, 2008 Report Posted February 21, 2008 It was great to see. I got my son all excited about it and explained what was happening, then the clouds rolled in! I didn't think we'd be able to see anything, but it cleared and we saw it when about half of the moon was shadowed. It was really cool looking with a red glow. I made him get up from his warm cozy bed and go outside to see it. He sd it was worth it though! Quote
NeuroTypical Posted February 21, 2008 Report Posted February 21, 2008 My little girls and I pretended we were living in the middle ages, and ran around screaming about mother moon hiding her face, and how plagues and locusts would soon come. Quote
