I am not even sure what that means........bigger numbers as in more liberals than conservatives? More Obama supporters than people opposed to Obama? More liberals than conservatives? The Republican Party was the first major party to support Womens Suffrage in 1896........and I am fairly certain that the Republicans also supported Civil rights laws, while Democrats opposed them. ( Dr. Martin Luther King was a Republican). And "DUbya and Reagan were light weights when it comes to out of control spending compared to Obama.

True, however, a mortgage is actually viewed as a liability, and the so-called homeowners were not homeowners at all....just mortgage holders. . Forced into foreclosure? If you don't pay your power bill are you forced in to not having power? Not homeowners. The banks owned the home and are now taking them back because of non-payment. s. No, but they did recklessly borrow money and on over priced homes. Foolish indeed. It's not quite as simple as you make it sound, but lenders share a portion of the blame as do the borrowers and especially our government. Now this comment is just absurd. Their loans were safe and they could continue to live in there homes as long as they paid their mortgage. Baloney. Personal responsibility is not something lefties are comfortable with, but in this case......foreclosures are the fault of the borrower.

Did you read the stimulus bill....you know what I mean. How? The ridiculous "emergency" spending bill ring any bells? But, honestly, the spending will eventually be our downfall, I was adamantly opposed to Bush's excessive spending as well. I don't disagree with you, but Obama's administration thus far has been even more reckless and ignorant and I am not sure Obama really believes that this spending is best for the country, I think he just sees opportunity because of the current financial state of the country.....need I quote Rham Emanuel? I can't imagine that he honestly believes that the stimulus bill and omnibus bill is good fiscal policy, if he does we are worse off that I thought. The economy will recover despite the spending, I think that we will see positive growth numbers in the 3rd quarter. We would have recovered as a much financially healthier country without the outrageous government spending bills. Ever wonder how it gets paid back and by whom? Does it concern you at all? Or are you so blinded by your ideology and admiration for Obama to intellectually scrutinize what he has thus far done? It is so easy to get sucked in to party politics. I have admitted that I am a registered Republican.......but only because I don't believe that a third party candidate can be elected. I sooo do not like the Republican party, but I believe they at least claim to represent many of my beliefs and values. But they were out of control spenders too and Bush was right there leading the way. Bush was a fiscal liberal......really a Democrat in my estimation. The Democrats have it all now and as sheep like as the American public often behaves , they will oust the Dems as well because of broken promises and ridiculous spending. I don't know if we are becoming socialist or not. If by socialism you mean, a lot of well intentioned government programs that do very little, except keep people dependent on the government dole.....then yes. I think we are certainly going down a dangerous road with our spending......Bush was a big spending liberal and Obama is nothing more than Bush on steroids. Obama saw opportunity to capitalize on the fears of ignorant Americans and funded the Democratic party wish list of the last 25 years. The economic distress that we are facing would have ended through normal market forces. When the next bubble occurs, we may be out of paper to throw at the problem.....and whatever happened to the Democrat promise of Pay as you go?????

I am ok with extreme interrogation methods in extreme circumstances. Maybe extreme circumstances should be clearly defined, but I am definitely for doing whatever is necessary to obtain information that would keep our Country and citizens safe.

At least big all powerful businesses generally produce a product, or a service and create jobs by expanding their business and create employment opportunities by contracting with other businesses. My view of government is less is more. The tax code that we have is just evil and repressive and needs to be reformed. If the government would protect me from enemies and keep the infrastructure working and do little else, I would be so grateful. The cradle to the grave nanny state makes me ill and is not sustainable, the mess that is going on today is so sad, the debt we are incurring to try and stimulate the economy is sheer madness. The economy would have recovered any ways and we would have been better off to have let the free market work, instead we used the economic downturn as an excuse to increase the size of government.

I would suggest that once they have been sufficiently interrogated by an means necessary they should be quickly tried by a military tribunal and then quickly sent to meet Allah in the eternities......that is of course, unless they are found to be really just a harmless, misunderstood fellow caught up by accident in something to complex for them to understand. Then perhaps we can move them to the U.S. and release them as our new Attorney General has suggested.

Cheney is already out....how about Barney Frank and Chris Dodd? and Nancey Pelosi and Harry Reid and dear leader Obama before he spends our country into financial ruin.
