I am inclined to believe Joseph Fielding Smith and Bruce R. McConkie on who is going to build it. It is interesting how the Jews are preparing though. They are doing the best they can to make the original clothing and 'tools' used in the temple. Of course one of the issues is that they are wanting to use the sacrificial instruments which are now obsolete since Christ has already been born. At least they are trying! I am curious about the converted Jews building the temple. There are some fairly famous LDS pioneer lines that have Jewish backgrounds. Neibaur and Rosenbaum come to mind since they are my husband's family. Do you think it means that these people will literally build it?

Our relief society lesson was on the last days. I got to thinking about the temple being built in Jerusalem. Now the Jews have a website dedicated to it. They even have temple instruments, like goblets, and temple clothing ready to use. So I was wondering. Who is going to build the temple? I have heard some speculation that the BYU education center might be converted to a temple. True its not where people expect but there have been some questions as to where the original temple was built anyway. What do you think?

Thank you for your prayers and kind words. I have always believed the Plan of Salvation but now it becomes the point to hang my sanity on. I am so thankful for the Gospel and all that God and His son have done for us. Without their love and care we would be lost in a dark world indeed.

It seems to me that you are. Your group is actually being targeted in the stop bullying campaigns going on in many schools as well. To be honest though it is not the glasses. I wore glasses and no one bullied me. It is something else. Maybe nerdiness? You are probably right about the 'who looked like they wouldnt fight back'. I was never nice enough to belong to that group.

If you stretch it very slightly a hate crime is comparable to terrorism. It picks random victims to terrorize a specific group. The punishment is different because it is for what is basically two crimes. One the obvious crime, murder, violence, whatever, and the second is for the act of terrorizing a specific group of people. I think it is easier to see and understand if it is viewed as two crimes instead of one.

When do we have to stop naming names on candidates for President?

I hear that fear mongering is a great business move. Especially for survival things like gold, guns, etc. Unfortunately the economy is improving and the gold market is collapsing so we must get out there and fear monger better. Poor old Beck will go bankrupt otherwise.

I think the Pearl of Great Price is very important but it is named appropriately. It is a pearl. It is not to be cast out into the general population but is to be studied by those having at least basic understanding and testimony of the gospel already. There is an amazing amount of information there for believers. It is very much like a pearl in so many ways. Pearls are build on a 'pebble' or grain of sand. Layer by ultra thin layer expands from that center bit. Each layer is so fragile and tender. As it grows and becomes sizable it gains strength and value. Before you get to a fully mature sized pearl you have to start with the tiny 'pebble' and build up the layers. Skip the steps and you dont have a pearl. In this case you are not going to get even close to the full beauty and value of a mature pearl. In other words you have to do the basics to get the full benefit of the pearl. Yes you can read it and ask questions about it. It is there and not hidden. Its lots better to find that grain of sand from the Book of Mormon, Bible, etc before hand.

Two days ago a woman friended me on facebook. Today she is not my friend. lol. That was FAST!

This idea of hating the opposition in any concern is growing by leaps and bounds. We have to either be for completely or are hateful. It is not a gay issue problem particularly although that is certainly a prominent one. I read comments on the news stories. They tell what people are thinking and it is not pretty.

I read a very interesting blog by Orson Scott Card a year or so ago. Trying to refind it now. What is talked about was OSC's views on Enders Game and Homosexuality. For those wanting to second guess what he really says it is a very good resource. It is quite amazing how peoples words, even written words, can be twisted. This is his website. It would make more sense to focus on living wage jobs instead of worrying that the very poor, including children, will have food to eat from using food stamps.

It is a requirement if the purpose is to bring up more children unto the Lord. Of course if the other wives dealt with housework, lessons for the kids, etc then there is more time to go about getting those children. ^^

Gosh I should not laugh but it reminds me of my mom. Except with her she deletes files she does not recognize. How she even finds them I have no clue. Apparently the last windows has hidden things sufficiently that she has not found any of those weirdly named files similar to system.exe.

We have been around a bit long to be a fad. My nephew just went to England by the way on a mission. :) I have no answer to your question except to ask why you are hesitant to join if you believe in the church? How old are you? Do you live at home with parents? Do you worry that they will be angry? Is it that you feel you would be alone? Have you gone to the ward or branch in your area? Maybe it would help you not feel alone?
