    Personally I like the "worry about the beam in your own eye before the mote in others". I was not aware that gays were being embraced by saints in SLC. I find that rather humorous. Didn't someone get a ticket for that recently. :) Ben Raines

    Oh I read the OP and it was about a secret society where LDS were taking over the world and owned all this land and were going to make people starve if they didn't belong, etc. and then we were paying for land to not grow anything. I believe this government program goes back at least 50 years if not longer. Ben Raines

    Where does this come from? I have been in several places around the world and have seen some others where I would not want to be found. There are few places in SLC that I would not feel safe walking at night. How is SLC one of the most wicked cities in the world? Ben Raines

    I don't understand. She didn't vote herself the award. Same people that voted for that voted for anything Beyonce won later or he won or I really don't care. A friend of mine was teaching Primary yesterday. She asked a little girl of two to please stop turning the lights on and off. The little girl turned to her and said "Just shut up". She was shocked. Behavior is taught at home, by parents, siblings and the media we allow in our homes. I have never seen the VMAs and have no desire to. Now the ACMs is another story. Ben Raines

    I would find a trusted jeweler to go to. Get referrals. If you walk in to a chain store mall diamond place you will pay much more for much less. If you are unable to find a referral for a trusted jeweler then any one will do. Ben Raines

    I am getting confused. The LDS Church pays farmers in those states not to farm? I know the LDS church owns the largest cattle ranch east of the Mississippi and it is in Florida. I know the US government pays farmers to not farm in an attempt to control prices and surplus. It is also done in the dairy industry. Ben Raines

    For how long has no one attended YW? Is this a new? My wife has worked in YW for over 20 years. The girls are the ones who plan and carry out the activities. Not the leaders. Leaders support the girls plans. That might be where to start. Ben Raines

    I find it amazing if these things are true that there are that many involved in the conspiracy that it is not major public knowledge. I may be dense but am I being called ignorant too?     Policy is that we work on our own family's geneology and not worry about doing the work of famous people. It causes much less trouble if their direct decendents find out about it and protest it being done. Ben Raines

    We have used grandfathers and father, if possible an uncle. Not a big fan of large groups, Bishopric, home teachers, family friends, etc doing the blessing. Ben Raines

    Snow, I agree that all should have directive on what they want done if they are left in a state where they cannot respond. Would much rather that my family knew what my intentions were than having to live with them having to make that decision. I want to state what I want done and not make my wife or kids make that decision. Ben Raines

    California is a big state, where are you going to sell at? I grew up in Santa Cruz and know the Central part of the state well. Do not know much about LA, or San Diego. Ben Raines
