I don't think its close minded to request your child stay with someone of your faith....all faiths do the same thing....its a choice for parents to make.....

one of my old missionary companions is a press secretary for a senator from a western state and has sent me info from time to time of reports being filed by politicians and what all is going on in Iraq. We do not hear anything good coming from the media about that war. I am in support of it!!!!

If I sent my kids away as an exchange student I would request that they stay with an LDS family....I see nothing wrong with that. If they are in another country they will have plenty of cultural expierences regardless of religion. We had a female exchange student with us from Latvia for a year. She was not LDS and I told her if she wanted to attend a church of her religion to let us know and we would see to it she got there. As time went by she started attending with us every Sunday. She would get up and get ready on her own. She is back in her country now and we miss her dearly.

I was flipping channels the other night and came across the Bill O"Reilly show and I do believe he was talking with several people involved in that case from Vermont.

I do believe Insurance companies are well aware of groups of people try to defraud them by doing what was mentioned .......they will cause an accident to claim the insurance......What the Father did as mentioned was an expensive price to pay.......

This one of the greatest things about the Church I enjoy.....they do not tell us how to vote and they just encourage us too vote....unless a concern with something to be a Moral issue.....and we do have Latter Day Saints on both sides of the aisle........
