  1. The Salesman, The Husband, The Lover - The Receiving End of Sirens
  2. I'm curious to see what's gonna happen with the three kids. Last I saw was that Joe Jackson (grandad) was wanting to take guardianship and make the kids into "The Jackson 3" by 2010?! That's insane! Let those kids be kids for awhile before thrusting them into the media paparazzi.
  3. Alone Again - Gilbert O'Sullivan
  4. (The) Shoe-Tying Song - SpongeBob Squarepants
  5. Wedding Gown of White - Charlie Feathers. That's the closest I could find. If anybody has any better, please go for it.
  6. Gown?! First you you got me with 'boo', then you got me with 'exam', now 'GOWN'?!!! Johnny my friend, you're the reason we HAVE to keep going back to the internet! lol Oh well, here I go again, now looking up gowns (don't take that the wrong way:D). Wish me luck.:)
  7. Oh, the pain, the agony and the ire to ask of such a thing! To know that I would have the bitter anguish of having to make that trip up to Hef's mansion and having to pick between Miss February, Miss March, Miss April, Miss May, Miss June, Miss August, (July was in the Bahamas) and possibly Miss September is simply beyond anything I could possibly imagine. Oh the torment of it all, having those kind of wives.
  8. Away We Go - Valencia
  9. I remember reading where some guy was asked if he could take on a second wife and he said, "Heck, the one I that have right now already has about three personalities, so why would I want to take on another one?!"
  10. Yeah I know. I just thought I'd throw that in there to spicin' it up. Hey, but you never know...
  11. Since more and more states are starting to legalize gay marriage, I got to thinking as a result of this "what if polygamy got legalized in the United States?" If this got legalized and then the prophet reversed the Manifesto and now COMMANDED that everyone was to live this principle, would YOU be able to do it? I know this all seems kinda far-fetched, but with the way things are going with gay marriage, I wouldn't rule out the possiblilty of polygamy to be the next thing looked at for legalization.
  12. Sooo what kind of guy are you wanting to date? Will dating someone who is not as good make you feel better? Just trying to understand. I'm sure by now you have SOME kind of idea as to what you like/dislike in a guy. So why not strive for what it is that you want and not what it is you THINK you should have, if having a good RM is not what it is you're looking for. Good luck.:)
  13. In our (LDS) church, the two are pretty close to being one and the same. For me personally, my relationship with Jesus takes priority over the church but again, they are extremely close.
  14. Wasn't he aquitted on those child molestation charges? I would NEVER stand in judgement of somebody unless I knew FOR A FACT that he did what he was accused of doing. Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't it say in the Bible that we are not to judge, unless we want to be judged back?
  15. You know, it's so easy just to simply say that people who are struggling with the church either have a) sin in their life and need to repent, or b) say that they need to read the scriptures, pray about it and listen to the General Authorities. What about a person who's picked up some anti-Mormon literature? Or maybe got a hold of a Sandra Tanner book? Or saw one of the hundreds of youtube videos that contained anti propaganda? Or saw the PBS special on "The Mormons"? How do members get around that? You just can't simply tell them "oh, that's all taken out of context" or "that's all lies". While some of it may be, the general 'meat and potatoes' of it may not be. So I think this is where John Dehlin comes into play with how to help people resolve these issues and still maintain a positive outlook on the church and keep them from going inactive or resigning their membership. While his approach may be controversial, from what I've read he's helped THOUSANDS keep their faith in the church, for the most part, somewhat intact. And for even doing just that much, (or that little, depending on how you look at it) I truly applaud him.

  19. What's the point of putting people in stupid categories like this? I know people who are considered "active" who have less than a Christ-like attitude, only obey those commandments that are convenient to them and are there for merely social reasons and I know people (one in my family) who have a Christ-like heart the size of the Grand Canyon and even pay their tithing faithfully because they feel like it will help the less fortunate and not so much that they are commanded to but still don't go to church, yet they are considered "inactive". Again, what good are the labels?
  20. Yes, I have read where MICKEL Jackson is definitely a Muslim but his brother Jarrome is a member of Gay Mormons for Jesus. Now as for Michael Jackson, that I'm not sure about.
  21. As long as you feel that confessing to your bishop about this is going to hopefully resolve this problem and make you feel better and closer to God, then by all means go ahead. If this is something that the end result you feel will be just a disciplinary council and make you feel even worse and more bitter to God, then I don't see either what the point is. Why do something that is going to take you into your abyss even further?
  22. I just saw on the news where some CEO of some company said that "it wasn't like he was a hero or some world leader, I just can't understand why they are paying this kind of homage to him." No, he may not have been a world leader or a war hero, but he did bring happiness into millions of lives with his music and entertainmment, unlike some world leaders who only bring depression, murders and even destruction. The happiness he has given to people has to count for something. So what does everybody think, is this too much coverage or is this appropriate for what he's done in music? Discuss.

  25. You don't put ANY person in the same room with a wild animal. Look at the lady who was in the news about 6 months ago that owned the gorilla whose best friend literally got her face and hands ripped off because the animal went nuts on her. Pit bulls are the same way. They can do just as much damage to an adult as they can a child.
