  1. HAHAHAHAHAHA. That was terrible!! LOL!
  2. Do you practice the Booyah School of Driving? Better yet:do you know what the Booyah School of Driving is? Take this example: Examine the time. Three AM, a cold winter night, a winding mountain road. Posted speed limit: 50-55 around curves. Actual speed: 75, normally, 65 around curves. Can we say: have you ever driven on two wheels to be exact? Another thing, although I haven't attempted these myself: Have you ever tried to sideswipe a Farari going a hundred miles an hour in a pickup, on a mountain road, no less? Have you also tried to talk your way out of three tickets in one night and succeeded? Have you ever driven a car only using the E Brake? Then you, too, must practice the Booyah School of Driving!! But have you earned the title of a Booyah Driver? If you are, you must know the Booyah Mission Statement, which infers this: All Booyah Drivers must have each and every passenger scream, "BOOYAH!" as you screech safely to a halt at each stop light. But what else is a Booyah Driver? We Booyah Drivers drive so ridiculously but so safely that any word about our style must come out as, "BOOYAH!" What kind of driver are you? Are you the cautious creature that begins ever so slow and then suddenly you're creening around a curve like no tomorrow? Are you placid, do you have road rage? Tell us your style and we'll see if we can get you signed up.
  3. Eh, it was only in the teens last night. Right now it's only 25.
  4. You're right. There's not much organization. I mean, there is...and there isn't at the same time. It's like they have a plan but they keep on talking about the plan rather than actually putting the plan into motion. And you're right, there IS the poverty level. Then again, think of all the 3rd world countries who absolutely have nothing. They're a heck of a lot happier because they aren't so focused on the quality of life--and more of the heart of it.
  5. It's not just the government. It's the society as a whole. If people aren't willing to work, and just want to sit on their behinds and let the government take care of it, then there's less of a chance for the government to help in the first place. All people want to do is sit on their behinds and not work! Yes, it is hard! Yes, the government should help! But have not millions helped already? Yes, the government IS slow. But once again, the government just can't do everything. You can't depend on them to do everything, either. It's unfortunate that the government is slow but even just as bad are the people who aren't willing to help themselves, y'know? People can't devote their whole lives to rebuilding it, that's true, and it will take YEARS to do such a thing, if it is able to be done. People have been given PLENTY of opportunity to make their lives better. Even so, we can still help. But also we shouldn't just let the people sit on their behinds and let the government do the work. Help has come from ALL over the country. Millions upon millions of dollars have been raised. People have flown from different states to collect people for jobs--to give them a different opportunity, to help them start a new life. People have cared and worked SO hard for these things. But you can't just give up on something halfway through and decide it's too much work to complete and then blame someone else for it, either.
  6. Katrina wasn't the government's fault. But the government is so bad they don't want to spend the money to help people, especially since we're still in a war. Still, a lot of people could help themselves. People want to build New Orleans. A lot of people want to and that's cool and good and all. But people can't just rely on the government to save them, either. There are millions of people who have helped. We don't have FEMA helping over here either. They haven't done much in the floods of 2004. But yes, the government should help instead of just talking about it. Most people just talk and do nothing. And yes, it's still a place to live. Like anywhere is safe. But the sad thing is, people just don't want to do it. But if people rally up enough, something will get done if they put their work into it!
  7. Yeah, and make sure she can cook. Not that we're not single, Sugar! Lol...
  8. Those are rather cool. Anyone know any good dress sites?
  9. I'm older and still dateless. Go figure! Eh, it will get better as I get older, I suppose.
  10. Gwyn came in just as Gabriel ended up collapsing on the floor. She dropped immedeatly, feeling for his pulse, her eyes full of clear-cut worry. She rummaged inside her dress and pulled out something very peculair and shoved it in Gabirel's mouth. "Quick, get some ice cold water! Someone, get a pillow!" For the next few hours it was nothing but work and worry and by late evening, Gwyn found herself in the parlor room, sipping some ginseng and mint tea to soothe her nerves. She pressed a hand on her sweaty forehead, and was half awake when Gabriel awoke, still on the couch. She almost fell out of the chair, tossing the tea cup on the floor. "Mister DeHart, sir, you've had a heart attack!" Gwyn said quietly. "Please, get some rest."
  11. Physical Ed was required when I went to HS here. That seems sorta odd. I don't think it's the religion but the people and where they live and their environment and what they're taught.
  12. A day for ! Hooray! *Shoots Cupid* But have a good day, honestly, though.
  13. CHAAAAAAAAAAAARRGGEEE! *Attacks whatever it is*
  14. And just the thing to make you feel smart....
  15. Ahhh! That image scared me!!!!
  16. Gwyn eased Sundash into a gentle walk, then slipped off the horse and patted her, knowing full well the horse wouldn't actually go anywhere. With a very poignant look towards the front of the manor, she walked through the back door and into the kitchen. Seeing that no one was around she quickly did a few maneuvars and brought the herbs out from her dress and plopped them on one of the kitchen counters. Shaking her head like a dog tossing water, she pinched her cheeks and then boldly walked into where the others were having tea. "Sally, the herbs are on the counter," Gwyne said as she strode in.
  17. You're all doing a great job! Please remember this, though: No character controlling, please. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE("Wikipedia")</div> Nobody is doin anythin wrong, but please keep this in mind. Thanks!
  18. An airline captain was breaking in a new blonde stewardess. The route they were flying had a layover in another city. Upon their arrival, the captain showed the stewardess the best place for airline personnel to eat, shop and stay overnight. The next morning, as the pilot was preparing the crew for the day's route, he noticed the new stewardess was missing. He knew which room she was in at the hotel and called her up wondering what happened. She answered the phone, crying, and said she couldn't get out of her room. "You can't get out of your room?" the captain asked, "Why not?" The stewardess replied: "There are only three doors in here," she sobbed, "one is the bathroom, one is the closet, and one has a sign on it that says 'Do Not Disturb'!"
  19. IT shan't be shaken! No, not one bit. But that doesn't make me smart.
  20. Gwyn peered at the house through the telescope. "Villian heading in and why, isn't that Mr Brown? Well, isn't that nice." Gwyn's hawk-like eyes turned slitted. "I have a good mind to slap that heartless DeHeat man. It's time to get even." Gwyn scaled down the tree as swift as a mountain lion, dropping to the earth on "all fours," stowing away the telescope. Sundash whickered and tossed back her head. "Sorry, we'll come back here later." Gwyn said as she leapt back on Sundash after untying her skirts. She kicked Sundash and they went speeding towards the house in a rather unlady-like fashion.
  21. Although learning is infinite, man's knowledge just isn't perfect.
  22. We can each edify and uplift each other. ^.^ Let's go back to wisdom, ya'll. Wisdom of God is better than the cunningness of man. There is so much to learn in the scriptures, really and truly, especially about wisdom. I think the best example of wisdom is from Christ. What do you think makes a person wise?
  23. My brain is too dead without the gospel! Lol, maybe I'm just a bit thick-headed.
  24. Hey, I think it's good to express your opinion. Just cuz you're not LDS doesn't make you evil, which is rather obvious. If we thought people were that evil, do you think that half of the people would be honestly trying to share the gospel--because they honestly care about people? I mean...it's all about the love of Christ and following His teachings. I don't know about ya'll, but I respect others who aren't LDS. So long as they understand my standards and they respect them, I could care less. That doesn't mean I won't try to share the gospel. Friends first. Honest people there trying to care for everyone. I've been harassed about being Mormon from tons of other Mormons. That doesn't make me hate my religion because I'm commited to the truth of the gospel, not its people. I don't know why it's so hard to not fight. Just because you disagree doesn't make everybody evil. I like everyone here, Mormon or not. It doesn't matter to me. I mean...this is about having fun, not trying to sit there and convince and battle out who's right. There's nothing wrong with sharing the gospel or your point of views. A lot of good can come from it. The point is to share. Anyway, enough of me rambling!
