Interesting point Faded. What if both sides have a bit of truth to them? Just for giggles, consider the possibility that the use of fossil fuels and other stated causes of global warming are accurate. Consider also that we are not seeing nearly the rise in tempatures that are being tauted by the eco-watch. Maybe that means in 50 years when we might possibly be able to greatly reduce our reliance on fossile fuels and reduce the other green house causes, we could actually see some global cooling. Another ice age. Ok, I don't think so, but I think it's fun to mention. :)

Have you committed multiple murders? If not, then you have not done anything irreversible. :)

I remember that as well. :)

I sure am. Young enough to like rock-n-roll, but old enough to be a fan of this band. Still, "Taking Care Of Business" still shows up in films and commercials so I can't be too out of date with them. :)

Sorry, I'm spoken for and will have to forgoe the thrilling line up routine. :)

Nope. I hear about LDS who want to move to Missouri because they expect Zion to be there. But the thing is, Zion is wherever the Saints gather. I fully expect there to be Zion in Australia - and Japan - and Europe - and South America. But probably not in France. :)

One of the ward missionaries that taught my family was an older gentleman from Germany. He was on his third wife. The first two had passed away. The interesting part of this for me was that the third wife talked about how wonderful it would be to reunited with the other two wives. Apparently, all of them were good friends in their hometown in Germany and at least the last one thought the idea of having best friends be your sister wives had its advantages. :) -

One is enough in my opinion. Although, I half think that if it were opened up my wife would consider second wife for me from her single-and-need-husband mature ladies that she knows. But I think the real question here is why would any sane man want a second wife? :) -
Welcome to the forum. :)

Will you be attending the LDS writers conference in Salt Lake in April? :)

Most books do not make much in the way of money. So, my first bit of advice to you would be - don't write this book in the expectations of a big payoff. You can make a good loving writing romance if you are prolific, but most of the other genres are much harder to sell. Secondly, it may take a fairly long time to find a publisher for your book. If it is LDS themed there are a very limited number that you can approach and if none of them are interested you may be waiting a long time for that sell. Also, there is a learning curve for writing. If you haven't written a book before, well, it will be quite an experience for you. If you have other projects that look promising, I would recommend working on them primarily and the book when you can. :)

We had a young couple in our ward that ran into this situation a couple of years ago. They had to work it out with the bishop. They had a civil marriage and about a year later were sealed in the temple. The best advice I can give is have them immediately talk to their bishop. :)

That's great Pam. Umm, for us newbies here, is there a reason we should be surprised about this? You seem pretty great to me. <I'd insert some of funny comment here if we knew each other better.> :)

Pssst. *whispers* That affectionate thing might not be such a plus if you plan to keep licking everything you like. I'd leave that out in the future. :)

Interesting. :)

Not specifically "rock" music, but the members should use discretion with all forms of entertainment. If a movie or a song makes you feel angry, violent, or otherwise negative then you should avoid it. I would say that there is some excellent rock music that is perfectly acceptable for listening. :)

I have done some research into this for a book I am writing. There will be a gathering of Zion. The righteous will know that the return of the Savior is imminent when any one of several events take place. This includes the building of the temple in Israel, the building of the temple in Missouri for Christ's return, and the return of the lost ten tribes. These will all be events that cannot be missed. :)
