No back to church change in our ward. We're still doing sacrament meetings at home for those authorized. But the missionaries are now allowed to visit people but not inside their homes... outdoors is okay. We've been having our sacrament meetings with the missionaries and some investigators and new members and some return missionaries that have taught these investigators and new members via video conference for about.... hmm, 2 months now? So, the missionaries are going to ask permission from their Mission President if we can hold our sacrament meeting in our backyard next week. I'll let you know how it goes.

It's as much an aberration as say... homosexuality - can either be a product of nature or nurture. They're in that dot - living within that society but different from that society. A lone wolf's tendencies to "go it alone" is not ideal. They're better off learning how to cooperate with others or get others to cooperate with them to be more successful - in other words, they need to learn to serve others and to humble themselves to accept service to maximize their covenants. Diversity is not strength. Unity of values among a diverse people is where the strength (power) lies. This strength can either be wielded for good or for bad, therefore, it is more important to work on making a society's values good than working on being diverse.

I don't think YOU realize nobody is saying EVERY DEATH is written down as Covid-19. What Dr. Brix is saying is that people who die who tested positive of Covid-19 or have Covid-19 symptoms are written down as Covid-19 fatality even if the cause of death was a brick to the head therefore inflating the rate of Covid-19 case fatality rate vs. recoveries.

Discrimination of the "not like" is a human survival instinct. It's been the main human method of warding off diseases even before medicine. It's so archetypal it is symbolized by the dots on the yin and yang symbol. If you notice, both yin and yang have dots. Skin-color/Culture discrimination, therefore, is not limited to white Americans. Even within the small subset of Filipinos, you'll find not only skin-color discrimination (skin whitening soap is big business in the Philippines) but also cultural discrimination (Tagalog vs Bisaya vs Ilonggo vs Waray vs Ilokano, etc. etc.). Same thing in every subset of society. This natural tendency of humans to form "cliques in the playground" and ward other people off is fine. When this becomes not fine is when discrimination turns into exertion of POWER over outside. This is the ideology of the Social Justice marxists - using discrimination to exert power couched in -isms...

Obama told Eric Cantor (House Republican Whip) "Go win an election" when Republicans tried to propose changes to Obamacare before it got voted on. You are completely correct. And that's exactly the point. Twitter, by acting like a publisher instead of a platform, has opened themselves up for revocation of their platform protections exposing themselves to unending lawsuits. Because the "Nick Sandmanns" in the USA wouldn't bother suing some blue checkmark independent journalist but would go full bore on Twitter. If you remember Gawker... I wouldn't be surprised if you don't because they've been dead for years... that was exactly the reason for their demise. Right now, Big Tech thinks they're indispensable. They're run by a bunch of socialists who has never had to worry about competition and pleasing customers. So yes, they broke off citing major doctrinal changes like female priests as a sign of apostasy but I think the official break happened when the last descendant of Joseph Smith that became an RLDS prophet, Wallace Smith, appointed Murray, a non-descendant of Joseph Smith, a prophet. The Remnant Church maintained a prophet that was a descendant of Joseph Smith which was the main reason Joseph Smith III broke off from Brigham Young in the first place so this was the final sign that Wallace Smith fell into apostasy.

I had tons of interactions with RLDS folks. The Christmas lights on the triangle across from the Whitney Store was one of my favorite spots breaking the dreariness of dead winter, especially after successfully navigating the hairy Sperry and Kirtland-Chardon Road in one piece. This is very disingenuous to Steve Young. The guy wore his religion on his sleeve much like Tim Tebow but without the public prayer displays on the field (which we LDS are not wont to do)... for example - NFL fans know Steve Young doesn't drink because he's "Mormon", he doesn't curse (he lets Jerry Rice do the cursing for him) because he's "Mormon", he ran all these charity fundraisers even when he was still in that other league - not the NFL, USFL or something. Even his dating habits (temple-worthy "Mormon") was fodder for news even making it into Sports Illustrated. His ancestry to Brigham Young was well known in the secular sports world including the reasons he didn't serve a mission - he fields a lot of interview questions about his Mormon faith without shying away from honest faith answers but not claiming he's an ideal Mormon either. He spoke at worldwide church events and BYU devotionals, etc. etc. His LGBTQ stance should not erase all those years of representing the values of the Church especially since it comes from a personal commitment to his gay brother-in-law who desires to remain in the Church. He may be misguided on the issue and it may be a "faithful for now" situation as these LGBTQ issues tend to become... even so - we should not diminish his public representation as a member of the Church for his entire football career because of it.

For Trinitarians, God doesn't. The male gender assignments of Father and Son in the 2 persons of the Trinity are considered, in any Trinitarian religion, as metaphorical and not a signifier that gender is an ESSENCE of God. They do not believe that God's essence has a gender.

Lots of things BSFs eat that are not good to give to chickens. For example - my cousin's coffee grounds. And, of course, BSF has an awesome protein profile whereas what they eat may not. And, if you have an aquaponic system (I have a small lettuce garden using the bottom of a 55-gallon drum), BSF feeds the fish. My garbage is divided between the fly bin, the compost for the sfg, and the pets.

So Carb... I got this system that worked perfectly last year... we have a black soldier fly bin with the exit ramp leading straight into the coop feeding tube. We also have a free-for-all feed crumbles in another feeding tube. Then I throw to the chickens the weeds I pull out of the garden, a lot of which comes from sprouted seeds that drop from the birdfeeders. They also eat whatever weeds and bugs they scratch out of the chicken run. I saw them eat a ginormous palmetto cockroach once and I did not eat eggs for a couple weeks - hah hah. This worked out so well, it took 6 months for them to finish a bag of feed that cost me less than $20. This year, unfortunately, my black soldier fly bin fizzled out. I'm not sure what I did wrong and I'm still trying to get them back naturally without succumbing to buying worms. They're going through the crumbles much much faster.

And how many non-religious heavy metal bands sing about Christianity. The Catholic Church especially the days of the crusades are chock full of heavy metal material.
