If there is a valid medical reason to not vaccinate then there is no choice but to refuse the vaccine. But there are many parents that do not vaccinate because of incorrect information from the anti-vax movement. We have vaccinated our kids and they have never gotten the diseases nor had a negative reaction, thankfully.

I think as we go through the Come follow Me curriculum as a family the change for us will be these: D&C 121 45 Let thy bowels also be full of charity towards all men, and to the household of faith, and let virtue garnish thy thoughts unceasingly; then shall thy confidence wax strong in the presence of God; and the doctrine of the priesthood shall distil upon thy soul as the dews from heaven. 46 The Holy Ghost shall be thy constant companion, and thy scepter an unchanging scepter of righteousness and truth; and thy dominion shall be an everlasting dominion, and without compulsory means it shall flow unto thee forever and ever.

Yes I agree, ignorant would have been more appropriate than idiot. It is my opinion that it is child abuse. We will just have to disagree.

If my child eats sugar or rides in an airplane he is not going to cause some other kids to get diabetes or crash into a mountain. It is a week analogy to compare the two. Perhaps I stated it too bluntly for thin skinned individuals, but if you don’t vaccinate you are not just endangering your child with death, but you are endangering everyone else in society. If your kid gets measles then the disease could mutate into something that could kill everyone.

You have some issues to work out I think.

People who don’t vaccinate are guilty of child abuse. You could kill your kid. Don’t act like an idiot, vaccinate your kids.

Here is the trailer: This is just a documentary that is looking into the possibility that Joseph and Hyrum are the fulfillment of the Revelation prophecy of two prophets. Take it with a grain of salt and pray for yourself to know if it is true. I personally try not to lock in prophecies as fulfilled until the Lord tells us it has been fulfilled by our living prophets.

During my recent reading I came across these verses. I feel that we are beginning to see the fulfillment of this prophecy. Especially verse 17: 2 Nephi 14 14 And it came to pass that I, Nephi, beheld the power of the Lamb of God, that it descended upon the saints of the church of the Lamb, and upon the covenant people of the Lord, who were scattered upon all the face of the earth; and they were armed with righteousness and with the power of God in great glory. 15 And it came to pass that I beheld that the wrath of God was poured out upon that great and abominable church, insomuch that there were wars and rumors of wars among all the nations and kindreds of the earth. 16 And as there began to be wars and rumors of wars among all the nations which belonged to the mother of abominations, the angel spake unto me, saying: Behold, the wrath of God is upon the mother of harlots; and behold, thou seest all these things— 17 And when the day cometh that the wrath of God is poured out upon the mother of harlots, which is the great and abominable church of all the earth, whose founder is the devil, then, at that day, the work of the Father shall commence, in preparing the way for the fulfilling of his covenants, which he hath made to his people who are of the house of Israel.

I see. At least you watched some of it. I have run into people that hate both star trek and star wars and have never watched them. I find it funny.

Maybe it is just a holo-novel that some of the characters use to relax? lol

This show is actually about the Evil empress from the mirror universe. Have you watched Discovery or just sketchy news stories about it?

An in-person cameo would have been better.

The Mandalorian and the Cassian Andor shows will be release on Disney + this fall and next year respectively. The Rian Johnson and Benioff/Weiss film trilogies are currently in the pre-production stage, but they have not been cancelled.

The western vibe is something I really liked about it. It makes be excited for the Mandalorian later this year. I think they will be heading in a very enjoyable direction soon. I just hope we can get a new film about every 18 months or so.

You make some good points, but it is all based on our personal preferences. I enjoyed that Ryan Johnson did everything exactly the opposite of what we expected. It made the film funner to watch. I did not really care for Rose and Finn's story, it could have been shorter on the Casino planet, but in all I liked the film. One criticism of Solo that I do have is that it felt like they put a dark filter on the entire film. Honestly, don't evil drug lord types ever turn up the lights?

Probably because it was not a big deal at the time. But most fans that whine about the new group of films were not even born in 1983. The fandom has changed for the worse in my opinion. We should just enjoy the films or not, but going on the web and saying "I will never see Solo because I did not like episode 8" is just kind of childish, don't you think?

It does have a peculiar dialect.

The hatred of the new films seems to be from fans that were sad that their pet theories bore no fruit. I have loved all the new films very much.

It is important to note that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is not the finished state of the gospel. President Nelson just recently said we are still in the beginning of the Restoration. Also, The Church of the Firstborn is the church of the Celestial Kingdom and we are not in it yet.
