  1. This is actually very sweet and wholesome.
  2. I always thought writing in a vote or going third party was an ego trip. It still is-but I’ll probably do the same.
  3. We meet our exchange student in about two hours. He is the fourth one we have hosted, for two weeks, from China. It’s an amazing experience!
  4. I shouldn’t talk. I never met an LDS person until I joined the church!
  5. I totally agree. Pauline Kael, the film critic for The New Yorker, once said, “I don’t know how Nixon won. I don’t know a single person who voted for him.” She wasn’t kidding. Nixon carried 49 states.
  6. Speaking of driving games and arcades, when this game came out it was groundbreaking. Very dated now.
  7. Mario Kart 64 is a gem, and Double Dash for the Gamecube is one of all time favorite games. I still play it 2024. I’m average-below average. That’s being generous. Melissa and I have a rule. Anything we say while playing Mario Kart against one another can not be held against us in the future!
  8. Gauntlet bankrupted me as a teenager. I LOVE that series. This is one of my favorite video game level music themes.
  9. Dude that game was incredibly hard. Hats off bro, that is legit impressive.
  10. Have you ever seen someone who is really really good play Defender? The little ship moves so quickly around the screen back and forth! It’s actually quite impressive. I’m awful at that game.
  11. That and the theme song from Rally X were my favorites. https://youtu.be/pnFVKEucais?si=6rG2WN0wTDlNN3Fo
  12. The opening song to Galaga is a classic. https://youtu.be/0ie4U89t7Cs?si=lFARt_0Sb-WJLeA8
  13. I hear myself just fine. Frankly I think I make great points. You keep beating the “They stole the election” horse. It’s absolutely what voters want to hear
  14. Yeah, I don’t see it that way. I practice the “same” kicks every day obsessively, and each individual kick is different. Maybe higher, maybe lower, maybe weaker, maybe stronger. Also, even the best pianist makes mistakes, so it’s actually not doing the same thing again and again.
  15. @Phoenix_person talked me into getting this one.
  16. Lol! That’s awesome. But this isn’t 2016. I’m convinced that Trumps capital riot, whining about stolen elections and criminal indictments will energize your base and they’ll come out in droves. It’ll also push the last few moderates out there (both of them) to Bidens side.
  17. @Phoenix_person & @NeuroTypical-I absolutely do think there are never Biden democrats but they remind me of the NFL boycotters from a few years back. Vocal? You bet. Too small to make a difference in anything? You bet.
  18. I see it totally differently. People like us (strong opinions, passionate) are always more likely to vote against than for. You won’t vote for Biden, you’ll vote strictly against Trump. The right does the same thing. What does your side fear more? Israel or Trump 2.0?
  19. I worked here during high school: https://mobile.funspotnh.com Bills itself as the largest arcade in the world, but to be fair, I’ve heard of other places claiming the same. It was a video game junkies dream job.
  20. I can’t read his mind, but I think he wanted to get out before he gets shellacked down here.
  21. https://www.ldsliving.com/read-a-never-before-seen-letter-to-a-doubter-by-hugh-b-brown/s/79033 Even some of the apostles struggled with doubt my friend. You are not alone.
  22. Dude this is awesome.
  23. This is the best thread in months. It’s so cool to see everyones hobbies
  24. So am I, bordering on OCD!
