Many of these experiences are very sacred but I can share with you this experience. Many years ago I was very active in a Christian church. One day a school friend invited me to his youth group meeting, and the Mormon missionaries had been invited to tell them what we believe. When I went, it was the second or third meeting. The lesson was on the Plan of Salvation. They talked about where we came from, why we were here on earth, and what happens to us after death. As they were speaking, I had the very strong impression that I had heard this all before. I remember saying to myself, "This is very familiar. I know that I have heard this before". I went through my memory, but could not remember where I had learned this. In that moment I heard a quiet voice speak very clearly to me. "It is true". That's all it said. I can clearly remember that experience now over 50 years later. It so imprinted itself on my soul that I have never doubted that they were telling the truth. It was before I learned about Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon. Whenever I think of this experience, it makes me think of the hymn, "Amazing Grace".

Thank you very much for doing the research. It is interesting to see how my mind works -- in this case, "probably doctrine" indicates that it is an opinion, and the one that made the most sense to me. SUMMARY Going back to my theory -- death existed during the five days of creation, and was suspended on the sixth. It is a working hypothesis which explains the fossil record and chronology, but it also appears to contradict the scriptures.

It would be helpful if you told me your understanding of the term "homoousia", as used in the Nicene Creed. Now, I use the term, "one substance entity". Perhaps you can explain to us how a "one substance entity" is NOT one substance when Christ said He was NOT in the presence of the Father after the resurrection. Remember that God is spirit, and resides everywhere to those who accept the Nicene Creed. All of the scriptures I referenced work together to bring us to a definite conclusion. A side note, it is interesting that Christ told the thief on the cross, "This day you will be with me in Paradise." Since Christ had not yet ascended to the Father, paradise is not in the presence of the Father, but only the Son. Another side note -->> the Egyptian bishops voted against the Nicene Creed and were banished by Constantine. If you study the history of the Council of Nicea, you will realized that this document was not a religious document, but a political one. The Christian church paid a very high price to get protection from Constantine, and they are still paying that price today.
