StrawberryFields Posted July 28, 2008 Author Report Posted July 28, 2008 I think it just about criminal for them to have a spoiler BEFORE the book comes out. Thanks for the advice. I won't click the link. Quote

StrawberryFields Posted August 1, 2008 Author Report Posted August 1, 2008 Well currently its been out for almost 13 hours.... who has their copy? Quote
pam Posted August 1, 2008 Report Posted August 1, 2008 (edited) Thought it didn't come out till 12:01 tonight or tomorrow morning I should say. Except for some place in Texas and Springville, Utah who got their shipment and put it out ahead of time which they weren't supposed to do. lol My daughter got her wrist band this morning to be able to get her copy at 12:01. She is so excited. Edited August 1, 2008 by pam Quote

bmy- Posted August 6, 2008 Report Posted August 6, 2008 (edited) So how are you guys enjoying it..? Every girl i've talked to is seriously let down over it. They all felt like the author was grasping at straws.. introducing to many obvious plot devices.. and in general that the book was a flop. It's a shame -- they loved the other books. Edited August 6, 2008 by pam typo..don't know what bokos were. hehe Quote
IntoGod33 Posted August 7, 2008 Report Posted August 7, 2008 I just found out that Stephenie Meyer is Mormon! AWESOME! Quote
miztrniceguy Posted August 7, 2008 Report Posted August 7, 2008 my wife tells me that news on a romance blog is that there are lots of returns from people unhappy with it. Quote
Truegrits Posted August 7, 2008 Report Posted August 7, 2008 my wife tells me that news on a romance blog is that there are lots of returns from people unhappy with it. One can return a book once they have read it? Quote
miztrniceguy Posted August 7, 2008 Report Posted August 7, 2008 apparently you can at barnes&noble and borders...but i thought that was what libraries were for. Quote
StrawberryFields Posted August 7, 2008 Author Report Posted August 7, 2008 I have not started to read the book yet but my visiting teachers said that they heard that it wasn't as good as the other three either. My words are if something isn't broken don't fix it. I hope I am not disappointed. Quote
pam Posted August 8, 2008 Report Posted August 8, 2008 I have also heard it is not as good...but I've heard that about movies that I really loved too. So I want to read it myself and decide. Quote
melissar Posted August 8, 2008 Report Posted August 8, 2008 I actually liked the book. It was not quite as good as the others, but still good. Quote
Iggy Posted August 9, 2008 Report Posted August 9, 2008 I really liked Breaking Dawn. In my opinion it is just as good as the first two. It follows the plot with no "flash backs" or "recaps" to explain things.Jean Aul did this in her last book. If you took out all of the flash back explanations the book would only be about 50 pages. I was so disgusted. But Meyers kept the plot line going smoothly and all of her characters stayed true to form. I have read a lot of comments stating that 'My Friend says it is bad', yada, yada, yada. NOT one of the comments said: 'I think this is bad' - big difference don't you think???? Berry, Pammy - read the book. I believe you both will enjoy it. Quote
