Elgama Posted March 13, 2009 Report Posted March 13, 2009 I haven't watched it but Mum had me watching the Naked Civil Servant and the Clockwork Orange when I was about 11 or 12, glad in a way she did they gave me an overview of life doubt your son would be scarred lol it does look like an interesting film have never heard of it and not sure yet what rating it will get here -Charley Quote

The popcorn was good, plenty of butter. It was actually a good story so to speak (historical). I did not care for some of the (no easy way to say it) so I won't. I'll qualify that statement, I didn't care for any of the .... In the 1930's, the Jews decided they should just ignore Hitler and he would go away. Eventually he did. I guess sometimes you have to be on the front line to fight the battle to defend those ideals which you hold most dear. I hope I haven't offended anyone, there are some very sensitive people posting blogs in this public forum and they only seem to want to get response's which agree with their own. Quote

Personally, I wouldn't let any eight year old watch an R or Pg-13 rated movie without having seen it myself first, and deciding whether or not they could understand the content.I didnt really let my son watch it:)Glad to hear it. The statement goes both ways. The LDS church opposes gay marriage/rights and is trying impose their view points on this group (for example in California). The homosexual community (if that is even politically correct) isn' t happy with the LDS church and will and probably have begun boycotts of known LDS businesses etc. It is war. I wonder if this movie was produced specifically for the purpose of enticing straight people into becoming gay? How dare they (sarcasm). Yet, a church which beleives in free agency trying to deny a whole population their God given right to chose seems rather hypocritical. You can figure it out from there. It doesn't matter to me either way. I get to decide what I watch and any group which tries to deny me that right (straight or gay) may as well be Hilter. If you beleive what you beleive from either side of the fence then you need to fight for it. I just want to live in coutry where I have as many choices as possible to be the greatest person I can be and not be afraid of who I am. A final question: If you are opposed to the homosexual lifestyle what should be done with these people? Maybe round them up and then what? If you have any questions, read this: We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness .
