Hello

I have recently come into a harder road in my life and am starting over. I have also strayed from the church for the last two years, and know that it was a mistake, but I’ve learned from it. I’m in the process of getting my life, body, mind, and spiritual self back in the right direction, where I can once again feel and be a positive force. I will be moving to Arizona at the beginning of next month and am starting to look for a ward. I am worried that when I get down there my family wont be as perceptive (my father is agnostic and my step mom is Jewish) but I know I need to stay on the right path. I look forward to getting to know some of you and having fun on the boards!

Thanks everyone!

Yes I hope to find a church before I get down there, is there any type of search engine where I could find out where will be closest to me or what ward I would be in.

I know church is important, I just get worried because my father is against organized religion and I don't want to damage our relationship any further.

Hi Carter welcome to LDS.net This a great site and it truly is like a family... I am the only member in my birth family also. It's difficult but bearable. Just connect with your local ward and pray alot. Good luck!!!

I was just having fun but I didn't really think you'd know who that was.
