Do you remember the name or address of the chapel you attended services. Was their a Bishop or Branch President? They would be able to get you this information as well.

Well I can find the names of the Bishops from the closest meetinghouse in that area. you could call them and see if they could find out what couple from that Stake was assigned to the base.

I just sent you a private message with some names and phone numbers.

ok, ill call them tomorrow. i tried today but it was too late. im trying to find all this so that i can see about going on my mission...

Unfortunately, you may not be able to get out of your military commitments. Good luck with getting things straightened out, though!

im already out of the military. i just got out in December.

Congrats. When I ETS'd, I lit a bonfire and danced around it like a pagan; burned my uniforms, OD green socks, and issue underwear; painted my cocorans red-white-and-blue and hung them on a telephone line; beat-up my squad leader; smoked three packs of lucky strikes; mooned a passing 2nd LT (dirty West-Point monkey); drank loads of rum and passed out under my friend's Zam (in a puddle of motor-oil and hurl); and a week later I was enrolled at BYU (I got drunk that night, too).

I loved my time in and thank you for your service. Go ARMY!!!

There's a meetinghouse & ward locator on lds.org that can give you phone #s as well when you're looking for a particular ward somewhere.

I gave him the phone number and names of the Bishop's in the meetinghouse from lds.org that is closest to the base.

There is actually no need to call any of the bishops from the area you were baptized in. The record can be reproduced from your local unit so long as your local unit can obtain your membership record.

Next time you are at church, talk to the ward clerk. If you provide your name, birthdate, and the address you were living at when you were baptized, it should be pretty easy to track down your membership record. Once your ward receives those records, the baptismal and confirmation record/certificate can be printed with all the original information.
