Justinator1 Posted September 14, 2009 Report Posted September 14, 2009 I've only ever got a flu shot when I was a missionary, why would I get a shot for a less deadly strain of the same virus? Quote
john doe Posted September 14, 2009 Report Posted September 14, 2009 I've been getting flu shots for the last 10 years and have not had any extended winter illnesses during that time. If the swine flu shot is offered at a reasonable time, place, and price I probably will get one. Quote

Just_A_Guy Posted September 14, 2009 Report Posted September 14, 2009 My wife and I will get the vaccine. Our three-year old will get it if we can find someone administering a thimerosal-free version of the vaccine. Not sure if our one-year-old will be getting it or not. Quote
mightynancy Posted September 15, 2009 Report Posted September 15, 2009 Work of art my daughter made last spring:That's one agile ox!I get the regular flu shot every year at work. I don't know if I'll get a swine flu shot if it's made available to me. I want to do more research, preferably from news outlets that don't use terms like Shocking! or Killer! Quote

Umm, I think it's because pregnant women and school-aged children are more vulnerable to fatality from this flu. I don't think usefulness has anything to do with it. What do they do, administer pre-vaccine IQ tests? Check out your biceps? Read your resumé? Quote
Thethuthinnang Posted September 15, 2009 Report Posted September 15, 2009 I think I already HAD it anyway lol. Bad bout of flu these last few weeks, symptoms did fit swine flu, didn't bother going to the doctor, not worried about it. And hi everyone, this is my first post, I need to make an introduction post but I'm lazy right now. Quote

Well, I don't know anything about his beliefs regarding the church, and I've been subscribing to his newsletter for years. Regardless, his research is right on, and I've not found much, if anything, that I disagree with. Quote
